+MrBong Toke I remember the next day or so after they went country I tuned to the Bear, they were teasing the 101.1xfm listeners, what a piss off! I find pretty much all the morning shows on the stations annoying, except CHEZ 106 and 580 CFRA. XFM's unknown morning with Mauler and Rush show was nothing like what we have today. Luckily Live 88.5 went on air in 2006, but it was no substitute for XFM and theses days it's is pretty lame especially with their left leaning bias.

+101xfmrogers wait XFM's morning show was Mauler and Rush? The dudes on hot 89.9 now?

It wasn't long after xfm's demise, that Mauler and Rush moved to hot 89.9. I thought it was too bad they didn't join the bear, live 88.5 didn't exist yet. I wonder if they prefer pop or rock/alt rock music. At least it didn't take long for them to find a job somewhere else. If you don't believe me that they used to work at 101, here's a link of an old transcript of an interview they had with a guest: johto.nu/shawn/print/maulerrush.html Also, you can check out my playlist "101.1 xfm forgotten songs" on my channel page. Let me know what songs that you have forgotten or haven't heard in a while.

Wow. I remember not to long before they changed to country. 101.1 only played disco music for a day. Wth? After my father passed away, I wanted to listen to chey to listen to some classic rock. Turn it on to hear alternative 90s rock. Oh man.
