Great video Chuck. Thank You for showing true Thai life. I have never had a problem with Thai's. I just smile. give them a wai or greeting in Thai and they just smile. Treat them with respect. You are in their country. But if you are kind they will give back times ten. They probably laugh and say crazy American but everyone understands each other with a few words , a smile and respect.

@notime2bsad4 жыл бұрын
Not that it makes any difference. If you travel inside Lao, same as traveling inside of Thailand, they speak differently also. On the border of Lao and Thailand they share the same language called ภาษาอีสาน isaan language. There are many provinces in Thailand that do not understand esan language. I'm thinking probably the same in Lao too.

Cool temple. And one of the best things about beeing retired or off the grid for a long period, must be what you said in the beginning. You didn't know which day it is. That is a feeling I love, but rarely get because the hamsterwheel is still spinning. 52 years old as you, but 17 years until I can retire. Yikes.

very few cases here in Thailand with almost no death. So other than precaution signs everywhere there's no visible signs of anybody sick or knowledge of anybody dying from this virus here in Thailand. Thailand did pretty good by closing its borders. but it's a little different here in Thailand one of the most dangerous places to drive in the world and nobody wears a helmet either

The boat actually looks like a hull of a slave ship. Google it.
@notime2bsad4 жыл бұрын
Wow that is cool, you seem like you know your boats to "actually" tell the difference of a partially rotten wooded boat hull? What would you google? Do Slave ships have a distinctive hull? What Kind of slaves? I am curious but not that smart, maybe you can help me with the google link ;) realistically it was an old fishing boat displayed and preserved for good luck from the spirit of the boat. But what do I know, Maybe the slaves came to make the wooden penises and it was blown up...
@traciluv27394 жыл бұрын
@@notime2bsad Yes, they do have distinctive hull, they were carrying slaves, is why I asked you to google it. What you would google is "Hulls of slave ships'. No need to get offensives. Slavery really happened.
@notime2bsad4 жыл бұрын
@@traciluv2739 why would you think I am offended? Why do you think I am in denial of anything?
@traciluv27394 жыл бұрын
@@notime2bsad Probably the way you came back at me. I "NEVER" said it was a slave ship I said it looked like the hull of a slave ship. Maybe it is a rotted fishing boat, however since you offered no knowledge as to "WHAT KIND OF BOAT IT WAS", that was my opinion. I love your video's and I adore Paige. You?
