Very well described. Actually I like handle more than the grinder. Very nicely crafted, certainly you are a tool lover and deserve 💯. Stay blessed.

Hi Steve, I have followed 2 of your lathe updates/mods/projects, couldn't be happier! I made the quick release hand crank and did the small round vise to tool post thing for my mini lathe. Both are just plain awesome. Fun to make and a joy to use. Thank you for the inspiration! Jeff

Nice little rig. I also noticed the two little feet on top for laying it down. They use to be standard, but i haven't seen them on many angle grinders lately. .

G’day Steve, Makita many years ago had the switch in that position some say it’s unsafe should you drop it but it doesn’t get in the way unlike top switches, still this is the first I’ve seen one there for many years. Now don’t get over excited and paint that handle RED. Cheers Peter

Good video Steve. If my memory serves me correct DeWalt is nothing but a black and decker. Years ago the black and decker was going under due to quality and went threw a reorganization

I've always bought chinese grinders have not had much problem some have better switches and layout than others. I have bought Dewalt but if you have a problem the tool ends up in service for weeks then service for parts is a mixed bag . Metabo is probably the best out there but they cost more . I wish i could say American is best but personally they leave much to be desired.

That grinder is not meant for the UK that's why it has a toggle switch. Ideal to use in fixtures but IMO unsafe for freehand use.

Blue Bosch is high quality. Even Makita, Metabo, Fein, Hilti, Festo are high quality tools. At work I have to use dewalt tools and they are not even better then cheap Chinese tool like Einhell, Rotwerk, Hercules, and so on. If you want to get high quality then you have to pay for it.

You are right, dewalt also has different lines of products just like bosch with their colors, their most expensive machines are quite good, look for "Ave" and his reviews for dewalt grinders from inside the tools

Steve, putting some of those ‘other’ accessories on an angle-grinder worries me. Chucks and other stuff are not designed or constructed to go to such high RPM as angle-grinding discs etc., my 115mm angle grinders are all rated at 11,000 RPM. If something lets go at that speed you’d better duck quickly! Les
