Something that I can see in this video is a transfer of energy from one metal ball to the next. I wonder about the sound they are making and also how dense each of the metal balls is. My question is, is the rate at which the energy is transferred from one ball to the next dependent on the weight/size of the metal balls?

I wonder what effect adding more spheres would have on the device.

How long will the spheres swing? How heavy are they? Does the force travel through each of the spheres?

Does the amount of sphere balls have a influence on the reaction? More specifically, would the same reaction happen if there were only three steel spheres instead of five?

How does the height of the first swing effect how long the spheres swing for? Does a lower height result in shorter time or does a higher height result in a longer time?

I wonder how long of a duration does the balls swing. If the force determines that, then what span of time is added to each amount of force added?

See: The balls are moving back and forth slowly. Thinking-wise: It reminds me of a metronome with the balls going back and forth Wonder: What if more force was added to the balls, would they move the same or at a different rate?
