I practice about 2 hours and then sometimes 4 hours per day and I can't even begin to play piano like this...she is very gifted and talented...me...not even close!

bless most pianos are made in Japan...my Boston/Steinway 6 ft Grand piano has a sticker that says Made in Japan....my piano wasn't cheap either...but it's certainly NOT a real Steinway that would have been twice the price....I'm not a very serious pianist...just your average run of the road...haven't mastered Chopsticks yet and if I do then I will post it on my KZbin channel...lol

This shows why it's so important to give children training in music and languages while they are young. Children's brains are very flexible and it makes learning easier than if you try to learn these skills as an adult.

Rusty - No, not all kids will be prodigies if they are given early musical training. However, it has been demonstrated that young kids have more flexible and facile brains and learn more easily than adults. It would be a shame if a child was not given music lessons because her parents thought she wasn't a prodigy.

She's amazingly talented and can play better than most people that are in grade 6 but i was in grade 4 at 9 and wasn't called a prodigy. But then i couldn;t play that song. She is so cute and polite. I hope that she grows up to be a surgeon!!!! Wee need more people like her in the world. I also love her dress lol.

Nah, it’s usually not a photographic memory but more a combination of a muscle memory and a musical memory. Type „how i memorize piano music jocelyn swigger“ and you will find out one method.
