See you in 2026 - Budapest will be the host of the next TRA event

The Transport Research Arena is Europe's most important transport conference. Its importance is demonstrated by the fact that every two years, 3-4 thousand experts attend the event, where on average around 1000 scientific papers are submitted. Hungarian experts have been working for years to make Budapest the host of the event, which will not only showcase Hungarian knowledge, innovations and developments, but will also bring together experts from all over the world in the heart of Europe to exchange knowledge and build the future of transport. In addition, such a professional event is the perfect opportunity for the host country and city to establish itself as an economic and innovation hub in the global space.
Dublin hosted the event in the recent days, while Budapest will be next host in 2026. The theme of the Hungarian conference will be ReGeneration in Transport, organised by a professional consortium including Széchenyi István University of Győr, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the Közlekedéstudományi Egyesület, the KTI Magyar Közlekedéstudományi és Logisztikai Intézet, the Budapesti Közlekedési Központ and our company.
