@maynardcat I have always been into americana restoration, I have done alot of reasearch on jukeboxes and I now feel ready to perform a true resto on a Seeburg. It may cost me more then its worth but I'm keeping it for myself and hopefuly enjoy it for years to come.

On this day in 1957 {September 2nd} two versions of "Fascination" entered Billboard's Top 100 chart... Dick Jacobs & his Orchestra's version peaked at #17 and spent 11 weeks on the Top 100... While David Carroll & his Orchestra's rendition reached #56 and stayed on the Top 100 for 7 weeks... Also in 1957 two other versions charted; Jane Morgan {#7} and Dinah Shore {#15}... Sadly Mr. Carroll, Mr. Jacobs, & Ms. Shore have passed away; and Ms. Morgan turned 88 years old on May 3rd of this year...

@noaa555 Hi It sounds like you are going to have a fun project ahead for you. There are suppliers of jukebox parts, and some can be found on ebay.

Probably worth about $5,000 restored correctly, but you never really find those for sale because they cost more to restore to that level than they are worth. About $2,000 - $3,000 with your average reconditioning would be about right. I love how people throw around the word "restored".
