Well this is good to read after my 4th time of starting the first part of the project, nearly completing it and having to cut it all up and get a bigger string, then finish it my 4th try and realize the 60cm was only for the top part and not have any string at all on the other end for the fringes 😭 that is very hard to see in the video, and I’ve been trying to make this for several days now. Oh well, it’s such a pretty pattern. I’ll just be trying it again.

It's so much faster and easier to start from the top and work your way down doing brick stitch. if you start from the top, you don't have to worry about too many threads bulking up at the bottom when you add the fringes. I have been beading earrings this way for over 35 years and have made and sold hundreds and hundreds of earrings.

Dear Dolly, each new row should decrease, the decrease is done as in brick weaving. Put the video in the speed settings - lower the speed so that it is convenient for you to see behind my hands. When we move to a new row, we pass the needle under the thread between the second and third columns of the previous row. Most likely the error is here. I wish you good luck with your beading. If you use Chinese beads, don't be surprised, they are terrible. I use Czech beads, but they also leave much to be desired. Sometimes you come across such batches of beads that you have to throw out a third of the bag and it takes a lot of time to choose even beads from a bag. It is best to use Japanese Toho beads and Delica beads, they are the smoothest.

But number 10 Czech beads are almost the same size as number 11 Toho beads). I use czech beads since that's what i can buy in my local shop, but toho and delica are also great for beaded earrings.) good luck with your earring learning! (P.S.
