Sorry for one more question/comment--misting with water is a GREAT tool! I use it a lot. But one more question on pre freezing your seeds. Do you do a two week period prior to sewing on ALL cool flowers? I thought I heard Lisa say she just stores them in the freezer when not in use. A bit confused about this pre freezing technique

Hello! 👋 Glad to hear misting has proven effective for you! Yes, you can store all your cool flower seeds in the freezer when not in use (rather than putting them in the freezer for two weeks prior to sowing). I would recommend checking out episode 11 for details regarding the proper protocol when doing that to avoid damaging your seeds. Thanks, and have a lovely day! 💚🤗💚

Oh my goodness! SUCH good input. I have Orlaya on a heat mat--nothing happening--5 days. I will remove and just try putting them outside on our deck. Temps are VERY mild and not expected to change for a week. Maybe that will work. But scabiosa sprouted in 3 days without a heat mat! I did think I roasted my poor snapdragons and sweet william. Put them in my garden window facing south with plastic wrap on top. Mid day I removed the wrap and what looked like steam rose up from the trays! I figured they were done! Nope--today, at 5 days from planting they are all coming up! But I narrowly escaped roasting them. Thanks for this GREAT information!

Thanks so much for sharing! ☺ By the way, we have found it easier to sow Orlaya directly outdoors in the fall. You may want to give that a try if they do not end up sprouting for you. Best of luck with your seeds, and thanks again! 🥰

@@LayneAngelo Would you believe the Orlaya (4 seeds) DID sprout in trays. I am only needing that many anyway to complete my home garden. Thanks for all the good advice! Thank you ALSO for the tip(in one of your videos) about too much watering --I am pretty sure this is what has been a problem for me before. I am letting them dry a bit more and already can see some growth. Who knew that could be such a hindrance to root development.
