Coil-heads are speculated to be weapons of war based on their terminal entry. As for Jesters, I suspect they're supernatural in nature, like the ghost girl. Some horrible, malicious spirit [or spirits] possessing a children's toy. Might explain why they also have an aura of sorts around them which blocks shotgun shells.

I'm not too sure of that myself. It seems more to me that the mechanic of cranking isn't a learned behavior but something jesters just know how to do naturally as a result of existing biology (the box). :]!

@@al_eggs yeah it seems to me that whatever creature is inside the nutcrackers mechanical body is using it the same way a hermit crab would use a shell for protection; so the actual organism itself is just what's inside the nutcracker, maybe hinting at the fact that the outer shell and the shotgun was man made. the jester on the other hand seems to me like a fucked up experiment done on a human subject cause of the humanoid legs arm and skull.

36:00 you can actually access this area without cheating just go further down the alley past the fire exit and there should be a floating door which you can use extension ladders to get into

Unused experimentation area CAN be accessed if you go up to the fire exit and go along the giant pipes, if you keep looking at the same wall the fire exit is at, you can eventually find an empty doorway, and with an extension ladder placed properly you can maneuver your way into there

about the very quick speciation, couldn't it be the radiation? probably let out by the facilities in the moons? that's probably why when you take the generator from the place you're at, it raises radiation that raises spawn rate for example, animals around chernobyl are different from our average animals

pretty it doesn't actually raise the spawn rate, it just opens all security doors which means all monsters that were locked behind are now free, making it feel like the spawn rate increased

I think the lore is implying that Jeb is actually the monster that ate the golden planet. For example, the logs saying their job is to feed the monster, and the voice behind the wall said they were eaten by the beast and it was digesting them, but Sigurd says they're behind the wall. What I think it's implying there is that the beast is Jeb. And the line "these walls cannot contain" is definitely referring to the beast behind the company building walls.

The weapons of war theory makes sense for intimidation. The mask is basicly SCP 035 the possesivr mask, both in looks and function. Coil heads cohld be guard dogs of sorts, making intruders look or die until found by the property owners.
