Instead of speaking with Ashaji, the greatest artist after Lataji, the interviewer simply asked het to sing snippets of her songs! She couldn't even refuse! He should have talked to her about her riyaz, her gurus, how she managed to master many languages, her diction and how she maintained her sur and bhaav while singing tough classical songs etc. That is why an appropriate interviewer must be selected for such jobs!

Lataji's voice is complete, mature, crystal-clear, extremely melodious, having widest range with tremendous breath-control! Other singers lack something or the other from these qualities! It was OP Nayar who made her first grade singer by ignoring legends like Shamshad Begum and Geeta Dutt and not RD Burman. But unfortunately Asha Tai never accepts it. When RD came in her life Asha Tai was already a super star. Nayyar Saheb was first to made her sing for a heroin in Naya Daur. But nonetheless nobody can sing like her. Live long Tai....
