Looks like a pretty cool operation if you had to do a lot of trays. What's your typical weekly production?

The seeder is just a box with a hole for the hose, a valve and a plate with small holes in it, why on earth would you pay the silly money for them, it's the easiest diy project ever. And stop buying plates, just cut a bit of mdf and drill the right sized holes in it in the correct positions.
