Antibiotics and antibodies aren't the same thing. Edit: antibodies are proteins produced by the immune cells, while antibiotics are chemicals produced externally from the human body.

So you haven't eaten "seedless" banana in your life ? PPL like you have invaded social media space just to type nonsensical comments because you can use your keyboard... Instead pick up a book and start reading.

Took me a while to wrap my head around it it’s been a while since I took genetics. So the seeds pollinate but are not given the materials to reproduce crazy stuff.

It's difficult to find seeded water melons. I guess this is all so they can sell then to you.

So the diploid pollinates the flowers on the tetraploid. The fruit that results from this has seeds. Those seeds are then planted. The female flowers are pollinated and they produce seedless watermelons. Is this correct?

Thats exactly right!
@Renaledav2 жыл бұрын
@@TheSeedScholar does it matter what type of watermelon pollinates the female flower that produces the seedless fruit?
@dustinwillis92379 ай бұрын
This is partially correct, but you are missing information. A tetraploid melon is treated resulting in sterile seed production. Another pollinator such as any diploid or regular pollen producing melon is required in order to pollinate the female flowers of the tetraploid plant because it has now become sterile and cannot produce pollen on its own. After the tetraploid plant becomes pollinated by a diploid it will produce seedless fruit, there is no need in harvesting a secondary fruit to then specifically grow to produce seedless melons. Once the female tetraploid has been pollinated it will produce seedless fruit.

You wouldn't be saying that if you had eaten the original banana. It was super seedy with very less flesh and not too sweet. Current banana is 100%flesh and sweet.
