The idea of using the original pot inside the new pot...then putting in the soil is genius! Making the hole the same size makes it much easier to transfer the plant into the new home. A custom made hole. Great idea! So simple...but would never think of it.

I only had the budget to buy 2 because I was there to buy other home maintenance items(new flooring). I lucked out & found them on sale. This is the 1st time I've seen them here. 18:38 Yeah, I had a cebu blue on my back porch in a hanging basket... In four months, it grew up thirty feet in to an oak tree, and the weird thing is the way the water trickled down the vine from the rain, would water the entire pot. I still havw a cutting I'm about to pot up, but I'll have to keep it in check this time. 😂

You inspired me this morning to go get a big bag of potting mix & some perlite & repot the Philodendron Birkin & Epipremnum Marble Queen I have growing on a stand out on my front porch. Marble Queen had attached itself to the house at one point & I lost a flake of paint unattaching it. Gave Birkin a new stake. Such pretty plants. Also bought four seedlings in tiny pots from Bunnings this morning. Don’t know if you have Bunnings over in America but they’re big here in Australia. Epipremnum pinnatum variegata, Philodendron brasil (which I know you’ve got), Philodendron Silver Sword & Philodendron Brandianum. Will pot them up shortly. Cheap as chips.

Hey Laura! I got an idea for extra space in your studio! I’m not sure if your grow lights (the black ones) have a top shelf but you should have Paul build some sort of shelf that runs the length of them, that way when you do have plants that are transitioned from the studio to the house, they have a place out of the way. I mean WHO DOESN’T NEED MORE SPACE, RIGHT! Love love love your content and your whole family!❤

Not saying you’ll have any problems with burle Marx but if you do, try an aroid mix with bark, charcoal and perlite. They are all beautiful. Do you thin you lavender down to just one tiny plant per square? I thinned my down to two or three per square but it’s so sad to kill what I worked so hard to grow. I just don’t need large quantities.
