Sarracenia are cold hardy use mixture of blond peat and perlite (50/50) keep wet and thats it.

I know you didn’t talk about nepenthes but can nepenthes get spider mites?. Because I got a nepenthes DEATH CUBE from Lowe’s. I know that the Lowe’s at I got it from is packed full of spider mites (I saw a sad looking bonsai taken over by the spider mites). The plant though was kept in a very humid death cube with a hole at the top around 1/4 of an inch. soooooooo do you think the spider mites would draw through that hole or did the humidity prevented any spider mites to come in?. Just saying I going to continue investegating for any dots that move. Update#1: so far no spider mites. YET!!!!

I've had plants right next to (touching!) nepenthes that were absolutely smothered in spider mites - but the nepenthes didn't flinch - no spider mites on it whatsoever.

Yes, and they can eat more than any other type of pitcher plant. My Sarracenia pitchers are usually full by the end of the growing season.
