TOPIC: PRAYING WITH THANKSGIVING
SCRIPTURE: And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
Luke 11:1
THOUGHT: The payer that will secure God’s Attention must be dressed with thanksgiving.
Our anchor Scripture reveals that prayer is an art that can be taught. Prayer is an art that is designed to register impact in three realms. Everybody’s prayer is to make an impact on God, the Devil and the person who prays.
Concerning Jesus Christ, Luke 9:29 says,
And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Go through today message with prayer and meditation once again.
2. Make up your mind to approach prayer with thanksgiving.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to pray always with thanksgiving. Deliver me from the attitude of ingratitude, murmuring and grumbling, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
