Those buckets are awesome! This spring is so cold and dry here in Edmonton but I started some radish and peas :-) .

Same kind of weather here! Been watching the 14 day forecast and looks cool right into the May long weekend. 🙄 Thanks for stopping by my channel!

You have a great start! I've only planted peas so far. I do like those tubs lol! Take care!

I told my husband he has to stop bringing empty tubs to my garden, cause my garden is getting too big and I just want to grow more and more stuff! I'd have to change my channel name - lol.

I cannot wait to get seeds in the ground. I’m still under snow 😲 in Northwest Ontario. I usually have seeds in the ground by now but we are not getting temps close to 10c (50f) just yet, should sometime this week 🤞🏻

We still have the odd patch of snow here and there in the bushes. Seems like spring took forever this year! Good luck with your planting!

I need those bins in my life. Sowed seed in raised beds and came out next day to Labrador paw prints all through it 🤦🏻♀️ When I first saw Living Traditions Homestead were using those tubs in their new greenhouse right away I thought they watch your channel. 😁 In my world you are the "O G" of large scale container gardening. 😁. I sowed carrots for the first time 2wks ago and nothing. Did I start too early? I am religiously keeping them watered.

Thank you! 😊 Not sure how warm it is where you are but should be ok to start carrots if weather is warm and the night time temps aren't too cold. I think I will try getting some going this week along with potatoes and beets. Carrots can take a long time to germinate. Last year I planted them in one of my red tubs and put an empty tub on top until they germinated. Keeping them moist is good too! I think this year, I will try putting a good layer of straw or mulched leaves on top of the soil.

@@LittleGardenSK I'm Zone5 north of Toronto. I do have straw so I'll add that. Nights are finally around 5 - 8c and day around 10 barely with that wind. I was using wet cardboard and considered wood planks on top but was so nervous I'd forget to check if they were popping up. Did you see TWN May forecast for 🇨🇦. 👎🏻 Look forward to your next video, I've learned a lot from your channel. Thank you.
