I love the trivia/gameshow, but I think it could be even better without the timer for viewers to guess. It sometimes disrupts the flow, especially for those of us just watching. The time the guest takes to answer feels like it's enough for us to make our own guesses, or we can pause the video if we need more time. Removing the timer would make the experience smoother and more engaging. Just a thought!

i like the timer, cause it gives me time to react and pause. In the 1st episode, he didn't put the timer, because of that, i failed to pause on time a few times and got spoiled by the chat or the thought process of the contestant. Just my opinion as someone who like to play along.

Instantly recognized the boss materials and the fact she needs the stupid specters… 💚 3 that is dori. She uses the flowers that are up high and needs the electro plant. 💚 4 I think that is zhongli…? I need to think for a bit, but yeah, I think he used cor lapis and slime concentrate. 💚 5 okay, now I am stumped. I am pretty sure it is a character that came out at the same time as shenhe, because shenhe also uses that boss drop. But who! Could it be yae…? No… I think she uses sakura blooms…? But what if not… no, I‘ll go with Yae and be probably wrong cuz I can‘t figure it out. WAIT I WAS RIGHT?!? As someone who listens to the music from this game on repeat - You are asking for WAY too much specificity on the character themes. They're never played ingame, so the only way someone will know them is by "vibes" or if they watch specifically the character trailer a lot (why???). The chance of knowing a specific character theme is WAY lower than knowing any other category because of this. IMO this should be changed to make the difficulty more in line with other categories, and also open up the way for more music that actually appears ingame. Make them guess the region (+ subregion like chenyu vale, tsurumi island, "soundtrack 1" etc; anything more specific than just "liyue") and whether it's a character theme, boss music, battle music or ambient music. That seems more on the difficulty of the other questions.

I see what you’re trying to say. I do think that generalising all character themes into one answer would be too easy? I’ve also done three episodes so changing the format now would be unfair if suddenly the future guest are getting high music score. I get the difficulty of music and them having to get the specific character that’s not even played in game but considering these guys are streamers/youtubers and how iconic character themes are in my opinion. I’m ok with music being the hardest subject. I have to think about this more tho hmm…

@@akashoT like I said, you wouldn't have to generalize all character themes into one answer - The required specificity could be "This is a Liyue character theme." And, the difficulty of other music questions would go up to compensate. No more "It's Sumeru," you gotta say "It's Sumeru desert battle music" etc. Just generally feels more fair Also, with only 3 guests so far it's perhaps not too late to look at their music segments, see which songs they were close enough to score under the new system, and add relevant points when comparing with newcomers. Certainly better than a bad Music-guessing experience for all future guests imo

​​@@sarahboes6829I understand where you are coming from but i think this quiz is pretty good for checking if they truly have good knowledge of the game, be it in-game or outside. Getting a low score isn't as bad as people think since even crossing 50% is already proving you pay more attention than 90% of the players, so I don't think tweaking the music now would help because specific regions would be too uneven, each region can only be divided into like 3 sections if you really try(for Fontaine especially i can't think of maybe divisions except the fortress) so I think keeping the format for now is good, if changes need to made he can do a season 2 maybe.

No other section of the quiz requires NEARLY as ludicrous a time investment into the minutia of this game's surrounding media as does naming a specific character's theme music. Non-character-themes are very easy to answer correctly right now if you just have to say "Chenyu Vale", for instance. Both of these are abnormal difficulties, and all I want is to see them both normalized to a level equivalent to the rest of the quiz, and to each other.
