So I guess... " A simple question.. I mean areas of heavy friction on an engine (a machine of any type) should be honed to hold the lubricant (Like a cylinder sleeve of an engine)!! or should be mirror smooth to avoid friction...what would be the perfect or at least Ideally perfect & no wear surface???? USING A HIGH END LUBRICANT

Marco Pollo actually to see things that small you need an electron microscope which then forms an image according to the way the electrons are hitting the detector (very simplified)
