I just had a birthday...Seventy! WoW!! And I wanted to do something to make this decade special, to show my gratitude for being alive, and at such a beautiful, yet challenging time! I am going to do this 30 day challenge, with hope and prayer that it changes my life for better...for joy!

🎉 Happy Birthday! My mother is in the same decade. Filling your heart with Christ will surely make the following years that much more golden. God bless you sister.♡ We may be strangers online but we're family through the father. Eagerly awaiting his return and restoration. May your faith grow ever stronger.

This is what I do. I stay open minded and I have found some pretty awesome and amazing people that I am lucky to call my friends. ❤️💕 non judgemental is the best way to be. It has brought me closer to my Heavenly Father

This lifestyle is a pattern that leads to deep connection and meaningful relationships that are the most valuable part of life, much more important to the whole soul than any other achievement or earning money. Bravo Hollister!!! Thanks for sharing your experiences

I found out recently that I am thought of as being gregarious in town, because I always ask the store clerks how their day is going...and listen to and respond in kind with follow up. We have some fun conversations, and some not so fun as well. I've offered comfort and counsel and cheer in these exchanges, and grown closer to them in the bargain. Your video is a good example for others to follow. Thanks for sharing!

You inspired me to think about how I want to grow and interact on my upcoming vacation. I've been thinking about just wanting and needing a break from life. But I realized I'm happiest when I'm learning, connecting, and appreciating the people and experiences around me.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful challenge! :) Seeing others the way God sees his children can be tricky for us at times, especially when we feel like we're too different from the person that we're trying to connect with. I've realized that it helpes if we give compliments, find common ground, really try to listen more than talking and also list the good parts about them as well. It is always a good thing to give everyone a chance before we decide that they're no good. We can miss out on lasting friendships if we judge people too fast and ignore them.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I saved your method to my phone, so I would have it for future interactions. I often feel desperate wanting to connect people and to make our interactions more than superficial. To know God's creations better is to know God better. And God loves you.

We have more in common than we have that is different. Even those who reject God. If we try to understand why they rejected Him. And if they know that we love them unconditionally then maybe they will get to know him through knowing us. The goal is for THEM to ask us questions, maybe just maybe they will want to understand. 😊

I'm to see how open minded your religion is. You don't judge the other religion as a misleading worship. You find holiness in each way of worship. I wanted to be in this kind of worship. I hope there's still a chance for me because lately I feel like I'm already becoming part of the world and misled

Hi there, thanks for tuning in. What questions do you have? We'd be happy to answer your questions, or we encourage you to reach out to missionaries from the Church, who would be happy to answer your questions and teach you more. You can visit www.comeuntochrist.org/contact?cid=42001274 to request a video or voice call with missionaries. Take care!

Hi, thank you for your comment! We admire your willingness to participate in this faith challenge. If you are interested in connecting with people from all faiths and backgrounds in various ways, similar to Hollis, here are a few ideas you might consider: - Search for virtual opportunities to serve. You can find remote opportunities in the Just Serve website through this link: www.justserve.org/projects?displayView=list&volunteering=remote&location=84106&applyAdvancedFilters=true - Volunteer to virtually attend missionary discussions with investigators with missionaries in your area. If you would like missionaries in your area to reach out you can request a visit either in person or virtually here: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/comeuntochrist/requests/missionary-visit - Participate in Temple and Family History work. You can contact your local leaders to find a specialist in your area to help you get started and answer any questions. If you do not know who your local leaders are you can connect with them through this link: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/comeuntochrist/requests/church/find-a-church We hope you find these ideas helpful. We know God will inspire and guide you to finding ways to help grow your faith as you connect with others. Let us know if you have any more questions!

Well, New or Old Testament - Because if you only want to see others in God Jehovah's eyes, he basically wiped out anyone against Israel, including other Hebrews... So you might want to See other's with Yahshua's Eyes . . . Christ gave people a break and He didn't wipe out the whole Roman Empire for letting the Rabbi's Crucify him.
