They were first brought up in 2018, when they debuted with 'POP/STARS', which became a huge hit. They also had a live performance for 'POP/STARS' if you search up "2018 Worlds Opening Ceremony". As a result of such success, Riot Games has decided to continue their stardom. They have a full EP which released on November 6th!

It's NOT mo-cap'ed. The pandemic made sure that couldn't happen safely.

If it were mo-caped I feel it would feel more organic. The dancing animation feels a little too light(not enough weight added) and stiff in some portions. This doesnt mean the animators did anything wrong. It could be the character riggers that made the skeletons of the characters, didn't give the the animators much control. Nonetheless it looks amazing!

you are talking about how realistic they are when the girl in the end laughed. Thats actually one thing that people criticize about her. On instagram you can find an account of her where she posts stuff as if she was a real person. Also the other members have little clips where they seem real. I personally love it but as I said, many people dont like that at all. (btw the girl in the end is a new champion in LoL and the new group member in KDA and this was her debut)
