It’s projects like this that will help Haiti rise. We the diaspora must get involved

Haiti will change for the better, I have never lost hope and I will make this point. Haiti and Africa will be the land that people come to be safe with their family. I made sure that I have my properties and land well maintain and beautiful as well. We must not let negativity be the mind set. If we were that poor other cultures would not want anything to do with it. My Haitian people wake up don't let fear make you lose on opportunities and building in your own country and town. I am in Haiti all the time and the feeling is unexplainable, the circumstances of Haiti have never stop me from coming to Haiti except that clot shot that some people believe in. This is an amazing project and I love it

Nice to see these types of developments in Haiti. I know Haitians who have purchased similar properties in Ghana 🇬🇭 and Rwanda 🇷🇼 . It’s time we invest homes . Although I would like to see better finishing especially in the kitchen area with the cabinetries etc.

Keep up the good works Jeanty. About this project. Make sure the streets are wide enough. Stop the selling on the sides of the streets. Stop the trash on the streets. Invest into Haiti's military & police 1st. Things 1st. Stop the kidnappings. Those are the problems that's destroying Haiti. Follow these guidelines so Haiti can have some new beginnings. They have to have new mindsets to move forward for developments. Please plant trees to avoid floods etc.

Hi seejeanty that's very nice but don't make them too low to the ground in case there is a flood so water will not get inside the house. I know this is a flat land make the sousol high and they can make steps to walking in. . .
@yvesyves98262 жыл бұрын
Love the project, hate the prices. The land for example is 25k for the 5 centiemes, 5k per centieme or $750,000 HD per centieme at the current rate of 1US=150HG/30HD. I think that's too much for "uninhabited" land. I understand building the house depends on lots of other variables...Yvon needs to find a way to make it about 100k per homes for it to be attractive to the average Haitian diaspora here in the US. Other than that, great initiative. keep it up Yvon & team.
@pastorgoof2 жыл бұрын
The prices for these homes are not bad because I saw ridiculous prices in projects like this in port au prince (Del-mar) like a 3-bedroom apartment for US $450,000 and multiple other projects that Seejeanty covered.

Thank you for featuring this. I love the idea and the house looks well built to withstand the elements. Now, the interior is not well planned, and it doesn't flow well. The kitchen. Shouldn't be the first room you see when you open the door and the cabinets are not scaled to the size of the room and the closet in the bedroom doesn't make sense. Lastly, the faucets and the shower head could be a little more upscale. Make it a little more attractive, please.
