May we emulate Nehemiah’s characteristics of concern and love for his people, humility, discipline in the word of the LORD, he offered to be an instrument to do God’s will, this ordinary man, Nehemiah built the wall of Jerusalem in 52 days leading his people with encouragement, faith and conviction in God’s promises facing opposition, mockery yet he relied in God, praying often, seeking God, he was resolute steadfast in his faith. Thank you Lord may we strive to emulate your servant Nehemiah. Amen.
