It’s really strange how many authentic indie bands are splitting up. Back in 2010, there was a renaissance for indie music, but after the pandemic, most of that energy is gone. Music listeners' taste is becoming less and less demanding when it comes to good music, and the world is definitely heading down the wrong path. On the other hand, you can still find some great new bands on Spotify, but because of the industry's low standards and monopolies, these artists aren’t getting the proper spotlight they deserve.
