Right now, the great Perseids meteor shower is upon us.
Our Earth carries us through this meteoroid stream each August, giving us a spectacular celestial show.
Some believe that the Perseids come as a guide for those in need of a new path.
The peak of the Perseids’ activity is tonight, August 13th though it continues through September.
I hope you have a chance to view them.

My mother used to say, the Perseid meteor shower was my "heavenly birthday gift." This is my first birthday with my mother no longer with us. It's was a rough morning yesterday. I used to call her and thank her for giving life to me. Then night came, I looked up at the sky, saw those streaks of light, and realized... we are all here briefly, we burn brilliantly, and hopefully we bring joy to those around us. Those ephemeral shooting stars now hold a new meaning to me, but not one of sadness. I hope to be the light of joy my mother was, and if there's something after this life, I hope she's shining brightly still.

My family stargazed with me for the first time for this shower and it was actually fun. They complained a lot lol but were surprised when they saw something moving. To me though, it was all phenomenal, even when there werent any meteors. Just a beautiful sky

Video idea: a Northern Lights themed video. It would be cool if you could have a video instead of an image of the aurora in the background as well. Also a note: most videos of auroras are actually timelapses, and what the aurora looks like in real time may be better suited for your videos. About real time auroras - you have probably seen in documentaries and such how the whole aurora flickers across the sky, like the bands of it are wiggling quite fast. Those are all timelapses. What the aurora (a really strong aurora) looks like in real life, is instead of the bands flickering across the sky, they are very slowly swaying. Also something that all the timelapses lose, but I think would be very well suited for your channel, is the bands of a real time very strong aurora have all these things in them that shoot down. I couldn't figure out a way to explain the shooting down stuff in words, but it should be pretty obvious in real time videos of auroras. Also did you know, there are different colors of auroras. If the particles from the Sun interact with oxygen, it creates green and red auroras. And if the particles from the Sun interact with nitrogen, it makes blue and purple auroras.
