I really appreciate all of these little videos I’m going through my own weird place and it’s helpful and comforting to see other peoples mindsets work and go through things So it’s not the same as the content that brought me to you but I enjoy it just as much if not more Thanks ❤️💙

I don't really use the act of reading or gaming as a break from reality but mostly use the "knowledge" I gained from reading and gaming to imagine worlds afterward, and those worlds are a way to escape reality. Sometimes it feels like watching/reading something is a chore to get to the good part. Does that make sense? Probably not.

Same, I don't always see Art as a way to escape Reality (Granted I Like Comics and Comics are just as Disturbing as Real Life) but I Do use Art to show my Creativity

You know I think I disagree, like no disrespect to you and maybe it’s unhealthy of me but I always run to media/art to escape the hard parts of my reality. Like my favourite episode of ‘friends’ or some stupid CW show just distracts me from whatever sucks in my life, gives me time away from student loans and rent. Allows me time to subconsciously think on those issues while the majority of me worries about something trivial. And maybe our different views stem from the fact that I don’t write scripts or create things like you do [I’m a business major]. But I agree that we change and I too love the feeling of going back to something I once loved and viewing it in a different way. Idk I’m kinda rambling but just wanted to get across that media can be an escape/distraction for some.
