2:15:32 Oh my god, I’m in disbelief lol. I’m the theatre employee Ross was talking about at the end of the video and I was sure that on that night I came across as weird and slightly rude with the way I approached him but to hear him saying it meant a lot to him is so amazing to hear, because when I approached him, I wanted to express in few words how long I had been watching his videos and how important they were to my growth as a film/tv enjoyer. I grew up watching so many tv/movie critics but Ross occupied a unique space where he felt the most relatable to me. His feelings toward the CW DC shows reflected my own enough for me to feel like I had a place to go to discuss them, even if it was a one way discuss. Ross, if you’re reading this man, I’m incredibly touched and honestly honoured that I was able to have a positive effect on you like that. I’ve been watching your videos for nearly half my life now, which is wild to think about, and I’ve always enjoyed hearing your thoughts and opinions. I’m excited to see where you go from here and, just like you, I also felt a weird sting of bittersweet sadness when I watched the Flash finale. @@RossMcIntyre CW's The Flash will always have a special place in my heart. And I am biased because I love Candice Patton's Iris West, it was a positive time for me as a South African to have sci-fi and fantasy finally being promoted and accessible in my country despite white nerds bitching about DEI. We have never had comics or Comic Con before 2015. Let's learn to be welcoming to new fans and embrace positive change. I have a theory that Cecile was never the one that got powers, but it was Iris West but they gave her the pregnancy storyline so that the reveal of Nora wouldn't be obvious (we never see baby Jenna again post birth because it was meant to be Nora).

I saw Tom Cavanagh, Danielle Panabaker and Carlos Valdes at Montreal Comic Con last summer, and honestly, Tom was amazing, apparently he grew up in a city located like 40 minutes away from where I live and he is truly bilingual, so it's not just a few french lines he was taught for the show. Carlos was exhausted, apparently, they had been travelling through South America before this and he didn't get much sleep or rest, so during the panel, he decided to take a nap instead of answering questions. I went in to ask a question while I was wearing my Flash cosplay. The guy working for the Comic Con on stage basically said "Hey look everyone we have Grant Gustin over here" while pointing at me since I was the only Flash cosplay in there. Then I said the meme line "This house is bitchin" and nobody got the reference, not even Carlos, my guess is they just learn the lines without remembering the overall plot. The meme made many people in the audience laugh though as they have probably seen the show many many times over the past 9 years so they understand every reference while the cast don't. What I learned is that the cast of a show are just doing their job, even the customer service aspect of being nice at Q&A panels and at photo ops or autographs, it often feels like it's just an act and it's because it often is. But Tom Cavanagh was really passionate and it didn't feel fake, or maybe he is just that good of an actor. I would have loved to see Grant but he was on broadway at the time, Tom Cavanagh told me that he and the other cast members visited him just a few weeks before coming to Montreal, and that they loved it, then he said I should really go see him if I have the chance. Another actor I would have really liked to see is Teddy Sears but I guess he was not in enough of the show to follow them along.

@nomad6169 Except that for Supernatural, Jensen and Jared remember the memes, the cringe fanfiction stuff and basically everything even though the show ran for a lot longer. 01:05:17 OK there is context that explains the existence of this episode and I honestly can't tell if it's a good good explanation. TL;DR: This episode is a piece of marketing for comics written by the actress. So the character of Nia Nal AKA Dreamer is entirely original to the Supergirl show (I think there was a version of that character in the comics already but they're only related in that they have dream powers so who cares). When DC started releasing their pride comics, Dreamer's actress, Nicole Maines wrote several stories in them about Dreamer (Nicole Marines is a trans woman). After the success of the pride comics, as well as her wanting to write more comics anyway, DC allowed Maines to write several comics and even had a version of Dreamer based on her character appear in several comics. This all culminated in Maines writing an entirely original comic about Dreamer that released near this episode. So this entire episode is presumably a thinly veiled piece of marketing for this comic, DC Pride, and various other projects.

I blame Universal for still having a stranglehold on the Hulk film rights. Mainly because the deal they had with Marvel and Disney was the Hulk is allowed to be in other movies but they’re not allowed to make Hulk solo movies. So we never really got proper time to see Bruce’s development and allow him to properly be in control as the Hulk. The closest we get is a deleted scene in Infinity War where we do see Bruce and Hulk actually work together and become one. The scene also had the Hulk bursting out of the Hulkbuster armor which is also very sad that it got cut considering that was advertised all over.

Dude. It's *EXTREMELY* easy to give up on a TV show that disrespects it's own content and characters. In fact, it's SATISFYING to because you know you are voting with your attention/money. The fact you kept watching it tells me you don't have as much respect for the material as you may think you do. Don't let them think what they created deserved the watch. Value yourself.

This won't ever happen because Warner Bros rarely ever does what the fans want. But I would give anything for one more multiverse crossover involving most of the DCTV shows like Gotham with David Mazouz as Batman, Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman and Birds of Prey (never watched the last two but hear me out) and especially the ones that were unfairly cancelled: Legends of Tomorrow, Stargirl, Powerless and I didn't watch it but also Swamp Thing. And I heard from the actress who played the tituar Naomi wanted to meet Superman despite being in a universe seperate from the ACTUAL Superman. And you know what? The Gotham Knights cast deserve another chance with better material. Finally, I would have the crossover end by having all of these shows take place in the same universe like Crisis on Infinite Earths. Except for some shows that would contradict the timeline like Smallville and Gotham, obviously. The whole point of all these projects staying separate in its' own universe was stand out on their own, not relying on another show's popularity and messing up the timeline of other shows. But they're all over now and some characters in some universes don't exist; they might as well break reality and make them cohabitate in the same world! Their respective networks clearly don't give a shit about them. But the writers do! Seeing Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman, the Earth Prime Justice League, the Earth 2 JSA, the Titans, the Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing and Powerless retconned to be in the same world would be perfect for me! And they could also return to this universe in future projects once in a while like the DCAU! And it has to made by competent people who respect each of these shows. With better writing, direction, VFX, etc. Smallville has an animated series in the works; maybe it could start from there! And the crew making the show, mainly Michael Rosenbaum, is close with James Gunn. But I'd rather the entire story be a miniseries branded as Elseworlds as James Gunn put it instead of just a storyline on Superman and Lois.

The Multiverse has always existed since Crisis. We saw it in the epilogue of Part 5. The in-universe characters just didn't know it existed and they couldn't travel to those worlds cause the Multiverse operated on a different frequency. Surprisingly not a plot hole in episode 9.

1:16:41 I blame Team Flash's reaction to Barry being suspicious of the fake Jay Garrick in Season 2 for his blind trust of clearly untrustworthy people and revealing his identity to total strangers. They dismissed him as just being paranoid because of what Thawne did in Season 1 but he was right since "Jay" was Zoom. He basically got gaslit into thinking that if he doesn't trust literally everyone he meets he's somehow a horrible person who won't give anyone a chance.
