I work in law enforcement, I see all manners of evil everyday. By seeking God, it has allowed me to seek to find God in the people I work to help and that has humbled me a lot in the last few years. It is amazing how much grace God has for such a sinful people, of whom I am first.

@@ciddoctor6993 I work specifically in a mental health focused unit, I mainly deal with people who have serious mental illnesses, I can tell you that there are a lot of very ill people who have a lot of trauma and never have known the love they deserve.

We seek the Father because he calls us to him. That is what the Bible says, anyway. Many who "seek" God are looking for a spiritual feeling- that is just vanity, though. Feelings are not necessarily helpful. The Bible gives what we need to know, rather than just feel, to know that we are redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus. That is what faith is: trusting 100% in the Lord and knowing, for certain, that we will be with him in heaven. What a glorious God we have who saves us from our sorry state.

What i have learned about the different systems. Charisma evangelist: dial 1 atehundred give me your money for salvation. Roman catholic: when a gold coin in my copper pot rings, a soul is set free. Orthodox: we worked hard on this, please accept it. Do you need my shoes? Watched a film called "Man of God" i believe is the title. Was a very slow film, zero action, zero comedy. Cannot remember his name off hand, got booted from his position by greed, got told he wasn't Greek, then eventually started or supported a nun community.
