Abdul Wahid studied in sharia/fiqh bidatil mushtahid by ibn Rushd, 4x a week, its comparative fiqh and reasons. Usul al Fiqh, Rundatil nadir by Ibn qudamah Muhammad Shinqiti wrote a summary. Fathul Majid, - MiaW Maadul Qubur - MiaW Kibtab iman Ibn Taymiyyah Kitab Ulu by Imam dhahabi mUstalah hadith Tariq /history as well! Saeed Hassan, he went to jamiat Imam. different faculties based on major. in his college, studied hashatil rada mubeh shar rizadal mustaqna, matn, shar/explanation is udul munbe. 8 volumes. 1 volume every semester. start kitab tahara! 5 hrs every week. this book is more on hanabali usul al fiqh is 4 hours a week. Also studied the book by Ibn Qudamah. 3 volumes 1 definition. when and why intro 2. why is Quran majaz 3. Sunnah, 4. Ijma, different types of dalil. 5. qiyas. Qawaid fiqhiya 2 hours a week. hadith from bulugh mahram, studied tafsir ayat to derive rulings, like talaq etc. study Aqidah tahawiyah, shar Abu izz then nahu etc. i collial hadith kutub 6 and nayal attar, take chapters like Kitab iman. then 2nd semester, salat or tahar in Sahih Muslim then Tirmidhi etc. tafisr Ibn Kathir, fathul bari Showkani. Nahu, thakirat! 10 :45 - study fiqh in masjid. tadaruj in hanbali, Radel mubeh is shar of zadul mustagneh. then read is hashiya or commentary. Kitab umdatul Fiqh sh Khalid teaches from. ZM has more masail. Hanabilah give more importance to this. Ibn Uthaymin Sh Munteh is 15 volumes, and Sh, Fawzan wrote 3 volumes! this is considered jewel. scholars say read books on different occasions for different reflections. ulum qawaid fiqhiyah by Imam Saadi or thalath usul. don't busy shar. like madarij salikin , look at shar at later readings. Sh. Abdul aziz, says colliatul shariah rawdul mbeh, Aqidah tahawiyah and bulughul mahram if repeated hanabaliah said if you study Zadul mustagneh & bulughul mahram by ibn Hajr, then you can be a judge! Bm has about 1,400 hadiths. Umdatul Ahkham by Abdul Qadi Maqdasi? using Bhukari and Muslim or only one from each. in Zadul Mustangeh is Masalah but its based on a verse but its not put out, or it can be based on ijma etc. Zaad is masail and BM is the evidences! students don't repeat the books thats why they don't build on it, and why they don't end up as judges. 20 :30 - what cirriculum for uk. this seeking ilm is worship. ilm can have more then one path in a general sense. write down the sciences, write down books for it! Arabic can be learned from Ajrumiyah, but you need words, so study build vocab like Medina books. see the vocab trough out days, listen to get used to it. of course, try to hifz Quran and tajwid, by going to a teacher. madarij salikin by Imam Siidi, this book has little khilaf. Shar munthir shar Ibn Uthaymin is 15 volumes, its comparative fiqh Zaadel mustagne is 3 volumes. , take shar Fawzan. contemporary scholars feed things in the plate. less issues to Manhaj salikin, matn badural bidhiyah, similar to manhaj salikin, its by Shokani. 30 :00 - brings important masail in every chapter. in each level they bring out extra masail. tadaruj, study bit by bit, its not 1 go. Manhaj salihin, Zaadel mustagne and Badural Bidihiya is good for beginners. Hanafis, mtasir maqdubi? Bulughu Mahram or Umadatul ahkham is for hadith. Riyadas salihin and Adab Mufrad are character building. with BM and Manhaj salihin goes into fiqh issues. in Aqida for talib al ilm, start from simple books of Ibn Abdul Wahab, 3 usuls. qawaid arba'a then kitab Tawhid, then Kafshu buhat! Nawaqid Islam! then study Ibn Taymiyya's Asma wa Siffat. qawaid mufla by ibn Uthaymin! usul Sunnah by ibn Hanbal, Shar Sunna by Imam Barbahari! says don't kuruj, respect for sahabas, hawd and ruya dealing with fiqh differring with ahlul bida, study these books! says studying usul thalatha 20x in 2 years better then 1ce. Make sure they ground in Tawhid and then go over. they should also know how to teach others as well. is topic is Aqida then focus on that, don't busy student before he is ready to confuse him. study matn or words of opinion. 40 :00 - rushing can deprive. read before class... manhajal salikin , on 2nd reading is easier, book of jihad and athan aren't there. Imam Saadi and Ibn Uthyamin made it easy to understand. 50 :00 - then study Zaad mustagneh. disect matn/text with masalah or benefits. try to summarize works to see how to collect benefits. says its difficult to get rulings as there hasn't been qidmah or i guess checkings like with hadiths. says stay away with gossip, and busy seeking ilm, like with Abdul Mohsin al Abbad. 1 :00 :00 - S. Suhaymi said dont' talk alot, its half din ( protecting mouth) hadith leave alone what doesn't concern you. seek ilm, and review classes as that imp. in the cirriculum. learn how to seek ilm. says if you can study a mathhab it benefits, every mathhab has its own cirriculum. Masail in learning mathhab w/o hizbiyah.

FYI, In the Madinah university in Sharia now they study Rawd Murbi’a like the Imam Riyadh University. Ibn Rushd only recommended as side book. Based on what we are studying now in the Madinah university it is almost what the brother described about Imam University.

@@hamzaahmed5436 honestly I think the fiqh curriculum change is for the best. Ibn Rushd is only good for comparative study. So you will never know which one to follow and will always be confused. With following one madhab, Hanbali in this case, it is better for practicality. And the university takes only selected issues where we read from Ibn Rushd or other bigger books like Mugni by Ibn Qudama to do comparative study.

Please answer ustadh. If we ‘study again’ do we have to go through another lesson of that book or is it just reading through the book and notes again as revision

What was meant was that because the first time you go through a book doesn’t really count as studying it, you need to go through it a second time. And every time you study the same book again you will pick up new things. And every time you go through it again, you could choose another explanation etc. So yes review your notes, but also *study* the book multiple times. You can have another lesson on it again with the same teacher if you didn’t understand something, or missed something in your notes, or to just go through it again as even though it’s the same points being made you will notice that you will understand and benefit from it differently. Or you can also get a different explanation, either from the same teacher but this time he goes into more details, or another teacher completely.
