Super pumped for archery season here in Pennsylvania! If you guys ever wanna come up and hunt 600+ acres with some nice bucks shoot me a message on here! I have a pile of land we can hunt that's private. And I'm not one of those guys that say yea we can hunt it and then we get in trouble. It's my grandparents land. I've seen multiple 160's and last year I missed a 197 1/3" but unfortunately my cousin got him. I'm happy he did but makes me sick I blew my opportunity.

The biggest mistake I see going on in this video, is you need at least one more person, because obviously you need the shooter you need the cameraman but you need a person to do the bugling and cow calling, so as they can sit farther back behind you! When you were at that water hole and that bull started coming in, to me that was the wrong time to cow call you were way too close to that bull for that, that's where the third person doing the bugling and Cal calling would have made the difference because they could have been farther back and cow called or bugles and most likely draw that bull right past you and you could have got the shot! The other thing I felt was a mistake is that there was too much talking when the Elk were getting close to you! Just my opinion!

Way to stick with it, Its hard to explain just how difficult that hunt is to a non native to the area. It is especially hard with a hard core Whitetail Background. What you were able to capture and encounter is a huge success on its own! Well done, and I look forward to your next shot at it!

Good luck and keep at it you were so close! Great content! Cameron Adams

Good to see the boys back at the hunting action. And I understand it's a bow hunting channel but the first time you hunt an animal or a new area, why wouldn't you use a rifle? Pretty sure with a rifle he would of had a shot at a few of those. Maybe it's a bow only season but get the first one with a rifle and then go with the bow for the added challenge on the next one. I know first time I went black bear hunting I wanted to take my bow but I took my rifle and I'm glad I did cause he sure looks good in my living room.

My man....your first elk hunt and you had multiple encounters over multiple days....plenty of elk vocalization...and you didn't call in any hunters or visa versa?!?!? I would agree with you that is a stellar first elk hunt by all accounts. Yes, it's obviously ideal to fill a tag/freezer...but speaking from experience, I didn't even SEE any elk our first 2 years of OTC archery elk hunting, just called in one hunter after another...so all those 'at bats' you just had in 2021 are going to significantly cut down your learning curve for this coming season. Congrats on a great week in the elk woods and hope you get similar encounters this fall! Great content
