I'm right there with ya. I hunted Pronghorn for the first time last year near Harlowton, got within 200 yards five times, and busted em. I've read they have the eyesight of a human looking through 10x binos!

I ended up getting my first deer with a bow this morning. After a half dozen sits I was finally able to harvest an old mature doe. Yes it was a doe not a buck but I couldn’t stop shaking when I released the arrow. No feeling like it

My husband took me antelope hunting twice in WY. They are MUCH more sensitive to quick movement and sound than Whitetail. The antelope see more clearly and much further distances. We learned to creep very slowly and were able to get pretty close in one instance. We killed (6) the first hunt and (5) the second, filling our tags but for one. Love the meat. These are fun to hunt!

Awesome buck and hunt. So now what do you do with all the meat since you’ll be doing 2 I think elk hunts and a bear. Sounded like you’ll be out west the whole time. And if you kill on all the hunts how do you keep all the meat fresh?
