Class would like to know if he was reunited with his kids and is still living in Belgium? Was he able to gain legal status or citizenship in Belgium? Is his family safe with the war in Israel and Gaza? Why did he keep traveling for so long with so many problems?

I THOUGHT that his family was ALREADY there at Belgium... but you're right... in the beginning, he said he miss his family and showed pics so I now realized that his family isn't with HIM now, WTF. He didn't say anything at the end about his plans to reunite w/ his family.... STRANGE. that turns me off.

I think his story showed that there's no way that he could've gone with his family. The group was losing people right and left. He got a visa. I'm hoping that he's able to earn money and make arrangements for his family to safely join him. I've met immigrants here in the US that were like that - the family split up with plans to reunite later. I'm just guessing. Also, it may be that Palestine's treatment of deaf people is worse than hearing people, and maybe his kids are hearing.
