Please enjoy this full grow seed to fruit time-lapse Video.
The NuMex Twilight Chili is a cultivation of the Chile Pepper Institute of the New Mexico State University and a real feast for the eyes. Countless small upright chillies grow on the bushy plants and ripen in a beautiful play of sunset colors from white to purple, yellow and orange to red.
Including the green leaves, this plant has every color of the rainbow except blue.
The 1 x 2 cm large pods are very hot and are suitable for sauces, salsas and for drying. In pots, the plants stay small (30 cm) and are well suited for the windowsill; outdoors they can reach heights of up to 75 cm.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 and 28 ° C (7-20 days germination time), so the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilized, well-drained soil and cannot tolerate waterlogging.
However I tried to grow them with Hydroponic method and that worked pretty well!
They should be in a fully sunny, sheltered place with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more.
I gave them all 24 hours of light.

big tip when using water for your plant keep an eye on the water if it turns green i means it got a algea infection so you have to refsresh the water and clean the roots this will happen frequently but its normal when watching this video your water was green for a long time and on day 53 you could see what it has done to your plant alr thats it peace out

Thanks 😊😊 I used some cheap nutrients from Amazon in the beginning of my hydroponic experiment. :) Roots started to get green, and I washed them under shower 🚿 to clean things Up. This stressed the plant so much and it was literally dying. After that I thought I should buy some really good nutrients. And I bought Hesi nutrients from Amazon. They have Root complex/Anti stress solution. I have Amazon link in the description.. after I started to add Hesi the plant recovered really fast and grew really massive.

@@seeminglyforever roots turned green maybe from algae?🙄
@gaftonsteel
@gaftonsteel Жыл бұрын
@@seeminglyforever I don't know how big a factor the "cheap" nutrients was but doing the Kratky method with a clear box and exposing your water to sunlight is what promoted algae growth on your roots.

What what the time lapse settings you used? Just bought a camera to record some hot peppers from seedlings to ripe peppers and would like to know a happy median. Was thinking a photo every 15 minutes should be good?
@seeminglyforever
@seeminglyforever Жыл бұрын
Yes, should be okay. It depends on the plant. I usually use between 7 and 15 minutes. If you have more frames it is not a problem :)
