Are you ever worried that some of the river stand sites you would hunt with the S wind would push your scent right into the 4 acre plot?

Since the goal is hunting mature bucks, we're not worried about spooking them in the food plot because they won't be there in daylight feeding during the rut phases in high hunting pressured areas. They'll be scent checking for does along the river bottom. And since it's a red "rut" stand, they're not hunting those until the pre-rut starts in late Oct.

The forester in MI I recommend is part of the logging company so that cost comes out of the timber value you'll receive.
