Seems familiar: unboxing the Vosteed Thunderbird

It’s impossible to look at the Vosteed Thunderbird and not be reminded of the Kizer Cormorant. Both knives have a front flipper, a back flipper, a thumb hole, a button lock, bearings in the pivot, and an S35VN blade. Both are named after birds. Both are a lot of fun to fidget with. But the Vosteed is no mere clone: it has a totally different blade profile and is bigger than the Cormorant.

I just got the same knife in the red gmascus. I had the same dryness problem that you had in the exact spot. And the back spacer is in fact copper!

I had the same dryness issue on the finish of my red and black that I ordered recently. Not sure what's up with it, lack of polishing I guess.

I purchased almost all of Vosteed and never received a pelican case. How do you get the case? Is it a special addition?
