I am a survivor of human trafficking and heroin addiction. I've been free of it for over 2 years now but it had been a battle for my soul. Ups and downs of depression and feeling empty and then joy comes. It's like a roller-coaster in this healing journey. Jesus saved me. Listening to these podcasts has helped me to find healing and peace in my emotions and mind. Thabk you for what you do sister. Therapy has helped save my life. I'm all bout it. I am praying God keeps me and grows me more in this healing journey. When I start to feel lost or forget who I am I remember how far God has brought me. Any advice on this would be amazing ❤❤ love yall

1 thing that I REALLY appreciate about Tim is this: I have watched a Lot of Tim Ross content and he has never changed his story. Every detail about his coming to Christ has been consistent, down to the smallest detail. His story, his history, has been the same no matter who has asked or what platform he has been on. Respect!

I can't express how perfectly timed this was for me. Just a few hours ago I was in church with a crushed soul over a rejection wound too, hearing the word of God from a messenger that is, ironically and unknowingly, doing the soul crushing (I know the wounds go deeper than church hurt), saying to God "ok Lord, You brought me here, You literally prepared me last night..but now what?" He's been speaking and through this podcast, is still speaking. I'm so grateful that you've gone through the waters to show that I'll survive this season. I'm so grateful Jesus went through it too so i wouldn't be in the trenches alone. My gut feeling is I'm going through it for others as well. Now I just need a good therapist.

My "Kryptonite" is actually PRIDE! It is a constant battle for me to not look for applause or accolades when I am walking in the gift that I know GOD has given me. I literally have to crucify my flesh daily, reminding myself that if I allow my ego to get in the way it will hinder the good I do for others because then it becomes about me and not about the work HE has gifted me to do. It is a daily battle for me. I want to know how Tim Ross has been able to as he says "take his ego to the backyard of his soul and shoot it" only a few times in his 28 years of ministry. Will this be the "thorn in my flesh" that I have to live with?
@Sassa-e9t7 ай бұрын
Honesty is the first step. Most of us don't even see our performance addictions. There is so much overlooked beauty in humility. Sadly, the church in many instances has become a breeding ground for applause addiction... even for those speaking against it. Ego is tricky. After all it spawned the original sin. I pray you will surrender to the absolute PEACE and resolve of knowing God's Love makes us at home with ourselves, confident because He Loves us so much. Nothing else matters. It's not a bad thing to appreciate appreciation, but as Savior servants we are called to be givers not takers, especially in our gifts. Thanks for this blessed opportunity to share, unmet, but having fellowship in His grace.

The Balance is to appreciate and be grateful for your past but those hands also need to let go of them ⚖️ You are already Healed and are on a Learning journey not a Healing journey. I Pray Your Ears are Open. Stay Blessed, Love 🧘🏽♀️❤️🩹♾️
