Hey all! Sevenths Day Adventist here💕🙌🏼 I try to listen in every week and love the basement💕 wanted to weigh in on the sabbath. I don’t speak for all SDA, I speak as someone who was raised catholic and later on converted to SDA. I just wanted to say, I’m the end religion doesn’t save anyone, jesus does. Jesus saves. God met me in the SDA church and therefore that Is where I am and where I come to meet him. But the study and spiritual work I do outside of church is where my spirit is fed.💕 I agree w/Tim denominations are different flavors, God meets you where and how he knows you need to be met, some people need more structure and others need more of a heart to heart 💕 praise god people seek him in general! 💕 love y’all!

The watching of the live was cut short due to my Internet connection, I had a dream yesterday about me confessing to the Lord about the desires to be sexually intimate. I was frustrated and letting it all out. 8am today I feel the Holy Spirit sit me down and I addressed my dream. Questions like did it feel like temptation, or resorting to watching adult films or masterbation. All the answers were no. He said, what's the title of the live you were watching, I was like breaking the spirit of lust. He was like exactly. Glory to God, I am free in Jesus name from the spirit of lust. ❤ Lord bless the Basement and the dwellers abundantly. Amen!

As an avid listener...I have yet to be so compelled to write in the comment section... I'm sitting here will tears running down my face in such disgust and anger for the young lady who spoke up about the passing of her baby and the pastor offering himself to her marriage. Hearing this broke me in so many ways....I instantly went into prayer. And then went on to watch the rest of the episode and heard Tim's prayer. And quickly realized how much gratitude i have for Tim (and his team)....The way he took that in and spoke so intentionally and boldly on it, let me know that I was in the right place at the right time. Hats off to you Tim! Your voice is very necessary in this day and age!! Thank you for your vulnerability, Tim!!

1:38:12 This reminds me of the pod awhile back where you explained the difference between deception and a lie. It was really eye-opening to me as someone who is in recovery (1 year sober from alcohol in 15 days 🙌🏻) because you pointed out that a lie is straight up false, but deception has just enough truth in it for us to believe it. For example when I was newly sober the enemy would stir up in me resentment about all the things I juggle as a wife and mom, and he would use that small truth to try and make me believe the lie that I “needed” to drink or that I deserved it. I’ve become more discerning in what is a straight up lie from the enemy and also more wise to what truths he is trying to sprinkle into a lie to lure me into sin.

@@meaganjones7242 in the words of Tim Ross: Thank you for the gift of your vulnerability ❤️ I’m proud of you for your two months, and I know every day can just feel so long and the enemy is chasing after you. I want to encourage you that it gets better and sober life is so much more enjoyable than being a slave to the bottle. If you don’t have a sober community I really urge you to reach out to Celebrate Recovery (Bible-based 12 step) if you have one… that’s how I finally got sober and my community of Christian sober sisters keeps me grounded. I ask you to hold his heart and speak life into him, that more than an audience, he delights the heart of the one who created him. I feel your delight over him every time I watch him talk, Papa, and I pray he knows and walks in that more than he already has and does. Let this season be marked with assurance and boldness of his own belovedness beyond what he has experienced. Let hell feel the consequences and the cost of messing with one of God’s kids. I pray protection over him, Hector, Sam, Juli, Juliette, the boys and his team in Jesus’ Name, amen! Love y’all to pieces ❤

Thank you, Pastor Tim for such a beautiful podcast and such a prolific episode. An fun fact, I just recently came across your page. This is the second video that I have Watched. An I just wanna say thank you again your messages and what you have to say it’s so powerful as well as enriching and you’re doing such an amazing job. An in one of your previous podcast episodes, you said that you believe that someone’s gonna come into our lives and be like a mentor to us someone that God will send us. An you also said if that has not happened yet and until that does happen, you said this podcast has to be on lock, so I said I’m going to submit to that and this podcast has been locked in since then. So Thank you and God bless You, your family and your team as well🙏🏾

God is a jealous God and doesn’t want any other God before him! This was MY personal reason to disengage. Where is my faith? Crystals or Christ? Tarot or Christ? Horoscopes or Christ? I choose JESUS EVERYTIME!!

I can appreciate that! As a very outgoing woman who likes to laugh and smile and be friendly it’s SO HARD to feel safe bc men think that I’m trying to flirt and it’s so scary bc it comes from pastors to leaders to supervisors in the workplace and it’s tiring. Sometimes all I want is someone to look at me non sexually as a big brother without worrying if I laugh or smile too much will it give the wrong impression then you put trauma of sexual abuse on top of it😭😭. All I ever wanted was to feel safe

@joyb.4666 Be careful how you dress. I had an elderly neighbor whom I loved like a Grandpa, but he would literally do the oldest trick in the book: drop or spill something so you'd jump up like a secretary and bend over to pick it up so he could peek down my shirt. I was very careful about my neckline of my shirts. Also, be careful how much personal information you share as it suggests intimacy and be careful how much physical touch you give. Keep it more professional.

OMFREAKINGOSH!!!! 1- I ❤ The Basement! 2- at 2:33mm. I am soooooooooo glad you touched on this. This was God! This is what I been asking for. I am on the same environment of this topic. My daughter is 15 and I been coming against the world on all variations of this from same sex attraction, masturbation, demonic entertainment (music and anime) etc etc. I wish you all could talk more on this one day. It seems like the more I empathize what God says, I feel she pushed away. She is wrapped up with social media and chats and I can’t seem to break her from it without a fight. When I talk to her, I have to really be conscious to not be speaking out in fear. Although I have before. I feel like I’m getting old! lol you gotta walk me through this new app /youtube stuff for the new location.

How do we develop righteous anger towards things that should most definitely make us angry the same way they anger God. How do we exercise anger in a righteous and heathy way. I’m the type of person to quickly forgive because I’ve done a lot of wicked things that God and others have forgiven me for. I try to avoid anger because I have a past of that anger leading to more destruction or pain towards others. Can someone help?

Hey Tim! Love you! One of your latest talks with Preston on "The Leader's Cut" having to do with the dark cloud has been so impactful to me, and the many others that I shared it with. Thank you! I am blessed to DWELL alongside your heart for Jesus. Also, considering you were the first one to make the point that: who you vote for is not what we are about here. It is about being a FOLLOWER of Jesus, rather than (for example) a follower of Tucker Carlson as your pastor, yada yada, etc. lol. I bring this up because I've heard a few times where you started bringing up voting for Trump as such a big deal, yet I thought that wasn't what we are about here in THE BASEMENT? Personally, I believe people are being fed entirely different information, on all sides, based on who they listen to, and NONE OF IT is the whole Story. Why bring it up?
