Guys,
Today I'm going to show you how to unlock the full speed potential of the Inokim OXO Electric Scooter.
This amazing piece of kit comes factory set to 15 MPH (UK).
1. Switch On
2. press and hold the +& - buttons
3. You will get into B1 menu
4. press power button, you will get into the menu 2 option
5. Press and hold all three buttons, this will take you to menu 7
6. Repeat, this will take you to menu 8
9. from here you can select wither 15, factory, or 40 maximum speed. Europe will of course be in Km
10. press power button to exit
11 press and hold + & - buttons again to get to menu 1 and from here press power button to get to menu 2
From here you can set the maximum speed from 4 MPH (UK) to 40.
12 press power to exit and you are all set.
This is an awesome scooter and you will love the extra capabilities you get from doing this simple unlock.

in my country its the law, that escooters can go max 25 Kph on the streets. Offroad you can go as fast as possible. But within reason - like what?? So this showing us how to disable something that a factory and what not have set on our products that we use, this is awesome!! Thank you

It’s more showing you how you can choose based on your country’s laws. A little bit like launch control in a car. You push a few buttons for menu options and you get to explore the full performance keeping in line with the law of course. 👍🏼

I just got an Inokim Light 2. My first electric scooter, so I'm not sure what to expect. On mine, the acceleration does not increase linearly or maybe not even smoothly with throttle position. I don't know if this is normal and I should get used to it, maybe in the programming of the throttle, or if it's a mechanical problem.

Don’t know anything about this model but it will be electric. No mechanical way to change throttle. Maybe that’s the way it is or perhaps new firmware coming soon!

@@SeenThroughaLens I brought it back to the shop. They said the spring in the throttle was getting stuck or something, and to fix it they lubricated it better. Seems OK now, though I just got it back, and it has not been much time on the road yet.

Great video and instructions. Question regarding the oxo. There are essentially six maximum speeds. 1, 2 & 3 plus (turbo button), so depending on if you are using one motor or two you could have differing max speeds. I saw a review where the maximum speed (in mode 3) was 27 mph. He then realized the other motor was off so he hit the button and got to 40 mph. Is there a way to set a maximum speed for Mode 1, 2 and 3? Say I would like to set mode 1 to a max speed of 12mph, mode 2 at 24mph mode 3 at 40 mph, could that be done?

No not that I’ve seen. You set the maximum and then the he others get worked out by the system.

My oxo only goes 15mph in eco mode on speed 3 but my mates ones goes fast in gear 1-3 in eco. how do I change this but on dual motor mode goes 40 in gear 3

Hi yes the law states the speed should be 15 mph. You have to follow the instructions. But also please remember that this is not a toy and travelling at higher speeds can be illegal and dangerous.

I had it for a year and I stopped using it because the rear disc brake is terrible, the one that comes standard is the worst and when trying to change it for a better one, I never found someone who can leave it working like people, the other but is the vertical tube folding system, it comes loose every so often is a displeasure, the good thing is that it has a solid structure, excellent cushioning. for me it was a waste of money

Not sure about the Oxsuper. I believe the you should get 45kmh but it does need to be unlocked. also the OXO has 2 motors, but in some countries it doesn't com standard and you have to purchase the extra motor. Again, worth checking on the Ox Super.

What is variable speed? Is this the same on the OX? Since they are only 2 speed mode how to have it so when pedestrian are around its only going a slow speed when on roads it will go at a fast speed? Can you demostrate this in a new video please? No one has done it yet!

The Oxo let's you set different speed limits. So if you want to go up to the max 40 mph, you can have that flexibility. other than that you can select how you get to that speed by using the 1 or 2 motors and the 3 speed buttons.

Not sure but I’ve used it in the rain with no problems. Deep puddles might be an issue but I’m a fair weather rider !

There are 3 speed modes but that is really torque and acceleration. You adjust you speeds as I’ve shown you so you can get to the maximum 40 mph. Or anywhere from 14 to 45.

You may not have the version with 2 motors. In some countries it's an optional extra.

No. The quick 4 is a paired down version. The OXO is easily faster, more robust. But the quick 4 is a newer model not as fast, no dual motors but definitely smaller and lighter.

Yes it's the same, hidden menu 2.2 is the speed. I search how to disable the pushed start on Quick 4, to start directly (big cons of Inokim's products). A shop tells me that it's possible depending on the display... Any idea, someone?

Hi my Spanish is a little rusty but my scooter is the OXO. Which has 2 motors. Option 8 in the menu may not be applicable on the OX Super. Hi f you follow my instructions and it’s not working then probably not supported.

i just wanted to say that this scooter OXO is no f....... joke..... please be careful when riding, make sure you have full grip on that handlebar because if your going max speed with little grip pressure on the handlebar in you ride on a pothole, MAY GOD SAVE YOU. this happened to me 2 days ago, it was chin first to the concrete, under my beard was a really big open cut to a point i needed stitches . be careful fokes !!!!!!!!!
