Sam, regarding 'water' in the spare wheel well, take out the 'bung' in the centre or 'Drill' a hole then cover it with an up-turned kitchen tray, you then get your dry boot space back. Regards, RichardA.

I have two C4 2.0 VTS's at home and one is a by Loeb..which i actually race...so great pick!!! Very glad to see this car on a big channel like yours. Unfortunatelly unless it has major engine upgrades or a turbo conversion the ew10j4s engine won't make more than a real 180hp. Stock it sits at around 165 of the advertised 177...whoever states 190-200hp out of an intake, exhaust and remap is lying or the dyno is lying...as for 220-230hp without aggressive cams, ITBs...higher comp pistons...no way. Have fun with it and i hope you will do an awd conversion!

Welcome back, Sam! Great start of the year! The C4 was indeed legendary at WRC as well as a hit seller on the market. Insanely popular, at least in Spain, and the design of particularly this generation was timeless. Of course you bought a rally conversion, but believe me it wasn't comfy as a normal GT either - I used to own the 5 door hatch! Was a very good daily though, but with the whole electronics overload, had it's glitches I didn't like in the end.

Also, you don't have to make every rally car gravel spec, with high suspension, check how they look with tarmac spec, nice and lowered, it would be such a weapon for a british B-roads.
