treaty of hudabya is the perfect example of the fact that it was a divinely approved treaty, otherwise it looks a total failure. the success of the treaty could not be imagined at the time when it was inacted

Episodes 63 - 67 Notes: Part 4 and Final Part I will repost this on EP67 Fun Trivia fact: Urwah Ibn Mas’ud stated the following to Quraysh after visiting the Prophet SAW at Hudaybiyyah. “O People, By Allah, I have been to the kings and to Caesar, Khosrau and Najashi. Yet, I have never seen any of them respected by his courtiers as much as Muhammad is respected by his companions”. Fun Trivia fact: After the conquest of Makkah, Urwah ibn Mas’ud embraces Islam and later goes back to Taif, to give his people dawah. He is verbally abused and rejected despite being a chief. The following day at Fajar time, whilst he is praying. Someone shoots him with an arrow and kills him and he dies as a Shaheed. Urwah RA asked to be buried with the Shaheed of Hunayn. Fun Trivia fact: After the death of Urwah RA, the Prophet SAW stated that, “Urwah was like the one in Surah Yasin” meaning he was killed by his own people, after he tried calling them to Allah SWT by telling them to obey the 3 Prophets AS that Allah SWT sent to them. Fun Trivia fact: The Muslims brought hundreds of animals for consecration during Hudaybiyyah. The Prophet SAW himself brought 70 camels. Fun Trivia fact: Uthman RA, is the closest to the Prophet SAW in terms of lineage in comparison to Abu Bakr RA and Umar RA. Ali RA is closer to the Prophet SAW than all 3. Fun Trivia fact: When Uthman RA was in Makkah, he met with some Muslims within Makkah, who were being tortured and oppressed by the Quraysh. He did this because the Prophet SAW had told him to do so, in order to inform them that, Allah SWT will help them soon. Fun Trivia fact: All 1400 Muslims gave the Pledge of the Tree, apart from one of them who was a Munafiq. Fun Trivia fact: Allah SWT sent Jibreel AS to Hudaybiyyah, ordering the Muslims to give Bayat Ar Ridwan to the Prophet SAW. Allah SWT knew Uthman RA was alive but, this was a test for the Muslims. Fun Trivia fact: Allah SWT hints at the upcoming victory of the Muslims, in the Battle of Khaybar, in Surah Al Fath. Fun Trivia fact: Since Uthman RA wasn’t present for the pledge. The Prophet SAW pretended to be him and put his hand in his other hand. To indicate that, the status of Uthman RA. Fun Trivia fact: The whole incident of the Bayat Ar Ridwan is because of Uthman RA. This pledge shows the status of Uthman RA in Islam. Fun Trivia fact: The whole matter of Muslims venerating places and objects is nothing new. In fact, during the reign of Umar RA, some Muslims began venerating a tree, which they falsely assumed to be the tree where the Bayat Ar Ridwan took place. Umar RA had the tree cut down. Fun Trivia fact: There is no such thing as bad omens or superstitions in Islam. Fun Trivia fact: Suhayl Ibn Amr converted after the Conquest of Makkah and he was very eager in worship. Suhayl Ibn Amr died in the battles against the romans. Fun Trivia fact: Suhayl Ibn Amr’s eldest son, Abdullah RA was the Sahabi who rode with the Quraysh to Badr. Only to then leave them and switch to the side of the Muslims and fight against the Quraysh. Fun Trivia fact: Some of the Sahabah RA refer to the day of Hudaybiyyah as the day of Abu Jandal RA. This is because of the anger they felt at seeing him being taken back to Makkah. Fun Trivia fact: If a Muslim is stopped from visiting the Ka’ba for Umrah or Hajj. Then they should get out of their Ihram where they are stopped, shave their head there and sacrifice their animal there. Then make up the Hajj or Umrah when they can enter. Fun Trivia fact: Shaving for Hajj and Umrah is much more rewarded than trimming. Fun Trivia fact: The first camel the Prophet SAW slaughtered and sent back to the Quraysh was Abu Jahal’s camel that, was captured during the Battle of Badr. Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW liked to travel at night time and would march with the Muslims, back from Ghazwa’s, especially during the night. Fun Trivia fact: The Sahabah RA would never shake the Prophet SAW in order to wake him up, instead they would say Allahu Akbar. Fun Trivia fact: Allah SWT left it to the Rabbi’s and Priests to preserve the Bible and Torah but, they corrupted it. Thus Allah SWT himself will preserve the Qur’an. Fun Trivia fact: Surah Al Fath is one of the few Surah’s that, came down in full. It came down when the Prophet SAW was coming back to Medina from Hudaybiyyah. Fun Trivia fact: The Bayat Ar Ridwan was given by the Sahabah RA to Allah SWT directly and he mentions this in the Qur’an. By Pledging an oath to the Prophet SAW they are actually pledging it to Allah SWT. Fun Trivia fact: Allah SWT knows not only the past, present and future. But, he also knows the alternative futures, i.e the future of an action we could have made. Fun Trivia fact: The phrase “Muhammadur Rasulullah” is mentioned twice in the Qur’an. Surah Al Fath Ayah 29 is one of these places. Fun Trivia fact: Surah Al Fath Ayah 29 is one of the 2 places in the whole Qur’an, where every letter of the Arabic alphabet appears in one Ayah. Fun Trivia fact: The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah set up the Conquest of Makkah. If the Treaty had not happened, then the Muslims could not have launched an offensive of Makkah. Fun Trivia fact: The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah shows us that, Muslims can engage with peace treaties with people. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it. You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes. May we never have to accept such a miserable treaty as one that necessitates the return of people who would join our side; especially when that means they will not do the same! It is important to refer to the teachings and example of the prophet when acting, but may we never be of those who hesitate with the Quranic view of an issue when we lack Sunnah! May we never delay following the inspiration to the Exemplar Prophet of God till we know more than the sayings involved! May we pay attention to whose events (h*adeeth) and way (soonah) things actually are. The last verse of Soowrat ul Fath* proves many of these Quran only people wrong in that it actually has the second part of the testimony that they avoid uttering. The second verse of the next Soowrah proves that no human word should be considered superior to that of God's Messenger Prophet. Abdul Baseer is one of those whom Prophet Muhammad said that their enemies are disbelievers (while they are enemies). "Word to your mother" might be a way of getting across part of the meaning of the "woe to your mother." I have read tens of thousands of narrations and don't remember Prophet Muhammad encountering whom the non Catholic Latin speaking people called Pagan or Heathen. When Qur'an uses generic terms or even the gender specific ways, it is fair to assume that both genders having the like or similar is implied. When we have both, it generally implied a societal behavior instead of just everyone for themselves.

People of Mecca made him to sign a treaty which is known as Treaty of Hudaybiyya, in which Mohd. gladly accepted the fact that he was not a prophet or RASOOL from God at all !!! Source Dr. Ghulam Gelani Burk's book 'two Islam', page 204 & 205.

Wallace Williams Ummm... Did you not hear his response to that? When Suhail Ibn Amr told him to erase Rasuallah. Rasuallah said I Am the messenger of god even if you deny it. So make sure you know your facts before you try to spread false accusations about Islam.
