Cubic Deck ANIME LEVEL In Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel 🔥

Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Side Of Dimensions was the most recent thing from the yu-gi-oh anime that I had seen. In it, we meet a new villain, Aigami (or Diva) - who played the Cubic deck. Cubic monsters, spells, and traps are all really cool to me. From burn effects, high attack output, graveyard effects, this deck just does it all. Loved it so much I actually reached platinum again shortly after recording this. Hopefully you guys enjoy what I was able to put together! OTKs are so easy with this deck if the opponent doesnt have a strong first turn.
Thanks as always for the support. Drop a Like - Comment your favorite part - and Share all over to show your support! If you want to see more, make sure to Subscribe to the channel!

Yeah.. I'm a blue-eyes fanboy, So I play a eyes of blue and mausoleum deck irl. Azure is low key the only thing you can get with him bc of it. But you can use his effect to go into Michael (lightsworn), pay 1000 to banish, then use another lvl 1 to go into Crystal wing. That's about it...

Yeah, there are way too many cards in this game to be aware of all of them. Some synergy cards are even outside their archetype so it's hard to recognize that they're good for your deck. @@Capta1nTD that's exactly what I do. Ya, it always trips me up when there's a few must use cards in decks that aren't the archetype, or have multiple effects but you only use one of them. It always throws me off when I start with them.

For those wondering. No he wont show decklist. Because he wants to people to "enjoy" building it themselves. Even though some people hate that process, find it too tedious, or simply want a reference that they can use as a guide and tweak themselves. Although at that point just look one up instead of getting it here since he's for some reason adamant on not showing it.

i dont mind people copying the cards they happen to see, then taking it from there. but to just copy the deck to the T just takes some of the fun of it out away imo. there's beauty in unique decks!

@@SeeReax no yeah i get that but as i said some just find the fun in the dueling apsect of yugioh rather than bulding. I personally feel its easier and more advantageous to just show the decklist to get those who are interested in the niche and wacky/fun looking archetypes, started on it right away rather than. I dont want to say gatekeep cause thats not whats happening but make it harder for them i guess? Also unique decks are still built since im sure many people use a reference and give their own a spin on it. Good video nonetheless though since i never even knew cubics existed.

@Dylligraphy
@Dylligraphy 2 жыл бұрын
Cubics have had occasional tops at Regionals, Extravaganzas, and even YCSes! Successful Cubic decks play plenty of consistency cards like Pot of Extravagance and especially Foolish Burial Goods (which is the best card in a Cubic deck since it gets to any of the powerful Spell/Trap GY effects). There're some great things about Cubics that can make them competitive in the right formats. They aren't Extra Deck-dependent so they can OTK through Scythe combos and play Pot of Extravagance, but they're also capable of Link-climbing with Duza and any other monster since Duza can float into another copy of itself by banishing Unification, dump another Unification which floats into another Duza, so Duza is effectively 4 Link Materials allowing for an easy ladder to a 5300 ATK Accesscode. Topologic Links (especially Trisbaena) are also great in Cubic decks as if you summon Crimson Nova to a Topologic's Link point their effects will activate but won't banish Crimson Nova, so you get a free wipe off of Trisbaena or Zeroboros and attack. Vijam can also be good Link material as you can Summon 3 from the Deck off of Ascension and it's Level 1 so it grants access to Linkuriboh and Relinquished Anima, which you can go into to proc a Unification in-GY and get into your Duza-Unification loop, or you can go from Link Kuriboh to Cyberse Gardna to make Crimson Nova's double-edged 3k burn one-sided to avoid draws, which can happen relatively frequently from an effect that burns both players for 3000 at the same time. Gear Gigant X is another good Extra Deck piece for Cubics, as you can recur a Duza to your hand after using them to dump Karmas and search pieces for Novas, so often a Gear Gigant X made with 2 Duzas gets you the last piece you need. Cubic Counters are the most powerful counters in the game as they come with the effect of negating a monster's effects and attacks alike (so you can for instance disable a Herald of Ultimateness with Cubic Wave's in-grave effect as it can negate Spell Cards when played on the field but not their effects activated from the GY). Crimson Nova lacks protection from backrow, so top Cubic decks tend to be pretty heavy on cards like Twin Twisters, Lightning Storm, Harpie's Feather Duster, Red Reboot, and even Denko Sekka to protect their boss monster and main win-con. Grave-effect disruption is also a huge problem for Cubics, so they tend to struggle in formats where Abyss Dweller is popular, which thankfully it isn't right now. Cubics' worst nightmare is probably Ultimate Conductor Tyranno, as its 3500 original ATK means Crimson Nova is affected by it, and flipping and sending Duza while it's face down ruins their ability to float or wall it out. Guardian Chimera will be a huge problem for Cubics when Despia becomes top tier, because it has 3300 ATK and can pop Crimson Nova on either turn, but DPE has always made good food for Crimson Nova since its pop doesn't work. Crimson Nova is only unaffected by activated monster effects, so it is affected by monsters' continuous effects like DPE's ATK reduction or Bagooska's switching to DEF, but DPE's reduction is typically 400 and not enough to win against Crimson Nova, but cards like Bagooska require other solutions like a Cubic Counter, a Knightmare Cerberus or perhaps a Droplet. That's some general info on the strengths and weaknesses of Cubics, they're really fun and can certainly catch people off-guard with out-of-the-blue OTKs from Crimson Nova.

Building a deck is fun but looking for a guide is always better especially if you’re trying a deck for the first time. When I built my Unchained Twins deck I looked it up and put my own spin on it. Look at Doto and his Neos deck which got from a video. If I wanted to make a Bird Up deck I would look it up because I don’t get everything about it. Also I like looking at other peoples versions of a deck I’m playing to see if they have things that work better or worse for example my Thunder Dragon deck which I built from the internet then tweak it myself and I’m proud of that because of how fun it is.

I actually run this deck in tournaments. It’s so hard to do well, but I’ve spent so much money on this deck that I can’t quit them anymore. I love the deck, it’s not the most competitive, but I’ve been working it to make it as competitive as possible

I’d love to see you play more villain/rival themed decks! A red dragon archfiend for Jack, Armed Dragon for Chazz, or tried and true Cyber Dragons for Zane would be dope to see from you :]

There's a cool way of link climbing in this deck using Unification. Basically everytime you summon Duza, you put Unification to the GY and then link him away, triggering Unification. Then you special summon Duza and put another Unification and so on. This easily gets you a Link - 4 Monster, like Borresword or Zeroboros. I personally love Zeroboros because people just dont read his effect and then their entire field gets banished. Note that Nova doesnt get banished because Zeroboros has 3000 ATK

I dont play YuGiOh, but your like the best duelist ive seen. I feel like the "good players" are the ones who read a deck list from a spreadsheet and immediately never lose, however you actually make plays, read opponents, incredible deck building skills, and most importantly BELIEVE IN THE HEART OF THE CARDS. This is the kinda stuff I enjoy from YuGiOh, not the same dumb bullshit over and over.

Now I want to see this deck go up against a Clear Mind Synchro deck, because whoever gets their combos off first basically wins, and for that deck it's extremely easy to get it off.
