I was in the play "Antigone" and I can tell you Oedipus's family continues to suffer, it doesn't end well for any of them cause the gods only teach cruel lessons

It appears that all Gods or God, from any multi-theistic or monotheistic religions were cruel. Always bent on “teaching” some cruel lesson.

What about Ismene? The poet Mimnermus states she was killed by one of the seven during the siege, but Sophocles has her alive after the events of the siege, since she shows up in _Antigone._ The gods cursed Laius for what he did to Chrysippus. It's seems unfair that his descendants had to continue to pay for his crime.

Jocasta did not age because of the necklace of Harmonia. In fact that item could be the origin of not only Oedipus misery but of all tragedy that befall the house of Cadmus.Haphaestus cursed it .

Harmonia was the daughter of Aphrodite and Ares and Hephaestus avenge himself by giving that cursed necklace as a wedding present. The fact that it gives the wearer eternal youth caused many to sought it, willingly risking its curse. Harmonia and her husband were turned into snakes and the necklace create havoc wherever it went.

I hope you make a video (or rather a series) about the Seven against Thebes and the Epigoni. These two episodes are about two wars waged against Thebas which are consequences of this events and also Diomedes (yeah, the guy who injuried Ares in the Trojan War) has a big role on the second war.

Oedipus went to the oracle to get answers of his origins and the oracle with an intent to make him fulfill the prophecy instead tells him the prophecy. Very shady oracle lol. The oracle is to blame.
