Ah...but lions are called "Ru" (roo). I found this one out yesterday. I know a cat named Roo and this name leaped out of the book I was reading when I saw the meaning. "Divine lion" it means...quite apt. The second of 3 initiate steps which I'm reading about in the Egyptian texts. Funnily enough...lions kept cropping up on my travels yesterday. On a T-shirt, a stuffed toy lion in a window...I connected with the name and meaning...that's the universe for you!. Better watch out with connecting with names and energies...especially this goddess in particular!.
