@@MinhNguyen-pk9qk true. But then again, his choice of a goddess to offer the apple should also be considered a poor one. A selfish and shortsighted one if I may say so. With Hera, he could have become King of Europe and Asia combined. But with Athena (the best choice out of the three if you're asking me) he would have acquired wisdom and martial prowess. Traits required for a man of his time in order to get ahead in life and earn respect

@ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣ ΑΜΑΝΑΤΙΔΗΣ Defnitley. Hera and Athena offered something far more beneficial than a hot girl. Honestly, I would choose Athena as well. History remembers great leaders, generals, and scholars. Paris, on the other think with his pants.

The Greek gods cared for the men enough to help them create a civilisation so influential in history. And in the Trojan saga, the gods helped a lot. Aphrodite guided Paris, Apollo guided Hector, Athena guided Odysseus and Diomedes, Hermes accompanied king Priam to get the body of his son back from Achilles... Too bad the series do not mention their acts.

Several novels had been writen about her and Paris. If you wish classical texts, try the book of Aeneas. I believe its called the Aeneid. Its the continuation of the Iliad and tells about the rest of the story until Troy fell & Aeneas escaped to Carthage and later, Italy where his descendants Romulus & Remus founded Rome.

The Trojan war was unavoidable so stop blaming Aphrodite and Paris. Don't forget that Hera and Aphrodite are far more dangerous then Athena with all her wisdom and strength. Even Zeus told us about Aphrodite's powers and what she can do if she really wants something. Paris was ment to die in the fight between him and Menelaos but Aphrodite changed his fate by saving him, Zeus being disgusted by her interference. Even the gods saved Aeneas, Aphrodite's son, knowing the goddess's wrath when she fights for what she loves and wants(story of Aphrodite and Adonis). Aphrodite is a great danger, even the gods feared her, when we talk about her titles and the divine posions as goddess of love and beauty.
