SEFFNER FLORIDA 2021 (METHNER)

Seffner is a little suburb located in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. This town has a bad reputation known as “methner” but it did not seem bad at all to me . The population was 7,579 at the 2010 census, up from 5,467 at the 2000 census. Located approximately 13 miles east of downtown Tampa, Seffner serves as a suburban haven for commuters.

I used to live on Peach Ave in Seffner - that was like 35 years ago. We used to ride our bikes around in Seffner on the shoulder of the residential streets and had beer bottles flung at us from passing cars (bottles were empty, of course). After that, we never rode our bikes around town again.

Wouldn't call seffner scenic by almost any stretch of imagination lol, except nostalgia & remembering when there was more open space & less dollar stores & storage facilities. New Tampa has some nice winding roads + nature, if don't want to explore more expansive / less urbanized north FL or south FL, would make for good videos (if only gas didn't cost an arm and a leg Rn...)

@@sambino2726 F****n hate it lmao. But that's why I saved kayak in the Hillsborough river, Alafia River, etc xD although I most definitely am still going up to the Nature Coast to kayak, that was something I had planned for at least half a year, spend all week up there oh yeah

@@Dman9fp hell yeah man. I’m in Riverview and kayaked the Alafia a few times and absolutely love it. On boat it’s peaceful too and then we usually head to down town or around the islands. Now we are looking to sell we bought in 2019 and our house has increased by 100k+. This area is being so built up it’s unbearable especially traffic. We are looking to move to the seffner area now

@@sambino2726 just an fyi, Seffner is one of the most sinkhole prone areas especially in times of drought. About 11 or 12 years ago it swallowed a man, lots of strawberry Fields draining the area and it's just more Sandy upland in general (unless you're closer to Brandon perhaps) but yeah it is a great spot since I-75 and I-4 are right there for travel

@@squigglove You are totally wrong. I livein seffner for the past 3 years and is not methner. Maybe they sat that cause some mobile homes close to faulkenburg but in general is a very good area.
