This is really cool as an optional bonus for players wanting cool cosmetics and things of that sort. What I AM worried about is this becoming a requirement for future titles similar to PSN and other sign up requirements. It’s not the end of the world but I’m just worried people (myself included) have to sign up for ANOTHER email service that at the end of the day is to track numbers Just a little worried, that’s all

I'm hoping that if they port forces speed battle,dash and rumble to consoles and you link your sega account to said games your data,progress and characters will carry over to the console. A man can dream

Any game they make I would love to have cross progression, I 100% sonic frontiers back in 2023 on my switch and I would love to have my entire progress carry over to my PS5.

My 3 main hopes for this service so far: 1. That it'll record game achievements, so players on Switch can earn achievements via SEGA's service, since Nintendo still refuses to add achievements (unless Switch 2 finally does it). 2. It replaces SEGA's email newsletters. I hate having to opt in for each individual newsletter whenever one comes out, hopefully they'll just change it so you just get a SEGA account instead of setting up an email with them each time. 3. Publicly viewable profiles. This goes kind of hand-in-hand with my first point, but it'd be cool if you could see different people's SEGA profiles, and what games they play/what they've done in them. I don't really know how that'd actually benefit anyone, but it'd be a cool way to display your history with SEGA games

@@SonicGamer20-Pro7 I know. Those two are already released. As for the third one, I'm pretty sure you meant Sonic Forces: Speed Battle, or as it's called by Sega now, Sonic Forces. Seems like even they regret the real Forces.

I can’t help but think, why? Probably over 50% of users are only looking for news on one franchise and like, as annoying as it may be, we already have the newsletter that sega makes us sign up for every time a game drops. I may be crazy, but I don’t get what makes this a big deal
