thanks very much for showing how to remove the stupid tray ! I was strangling for a 2 days to figure that out and finally I find your video! in my case not only the belt but the plastic holder for the rotating slug is broken (this part that lift the laser assembly .

Another way to insert the screw on the right while replacing the metal shielding back, simply put that screw into the port as you place said casing back unto the cd drive.

the idea was good, but this is again another video missing an important step. the laser has to be raised when the charger is retracted. you have done this but not shown it
