This game is an all time masterpiece for me, Beautiful Music Composition, Cute and colorful gameplay, and incredible story about humans and their crappy behaviour to anything "Different" Good lesson for any kid to play through this. One interesting find was while i was exploring Crucader of Centy Rom for sprites and textures I found all the textures of Prince Ali from Beyond Oasis game. Makes me wonder, if any of the developers were working on Beyond Oasis first.

I love this little oddity of a game, though I never really liked the ending. Things turn out hunky-dory only when the monsters are allowed to never have been trapped in this world. When it's only humans and animals in the world, everything's inexplicably kumbaya, when... no, that's not how that works. We know exactly what a world with humans as the only sapient species would be like because *we live in that world already*. We just turn on each other instead. Undertale later takes the same premise and instead gives us hope that humans and "monsters" *can* coexist, albeit imperfectly. Otherwise, though, I love Centy and its wild plot. It's a shame the game's so short, but the story doesn't feel undercooked, at least.
@archiev.16338 ай бұрын
Yes I also didn't like the ending of the Game despite how deep the game actually dives. I wanted the Monsters to coexist together. I wanted and imagined a sequel that would reunite the world. Just like In Reality. In game pretentious self centered religion prevented coexistence. They slayed the monsters in the name of his Holiness. As i progressed through the game i found myself increasingly sympathizing with Monsters... I love this game on a deep level and keep a save on Black Night so i can talk to animals and Humans 😆 For all people that are yet to play this Rare gem. Give it a playthrough with philosophy and open heart. You'll love the message if you have big heart ❤️

I remembered the name when I clicked this video, but had to do an image search and the memories came flooding back. Parts of this sound suspiciously like Ranger X... Must be some weird coincidence. Hey, so I did end up getting a Game Genie in order to play Crusader of Centy, and it turns out it runs at the right speed! Don't know why, but it works beautifully. There's just one...small...problem... Any game played through a Game Genie...can't save. In extreme cases, the Game Genie can even erase some saved files. Obviously this makes the game unplayable. At this point I have no choice but to look into other options. The way I see it there are 3 possibilities... 1. I buy a PAL Mega Drive. (Though I'm not sure if this would even work on an NTSC TV. Would it? If not, are there any cables/converters/whatevers I could get to make it work? Basically any method that doesn't involve getting a PAL TV.) 2. Get a region switcher installed on my system, to sort of trick it into thinking it's a PAL system, yet not tampering with the hertz speed. 3. Lay in the fetal position in the corner of my room, slowly sobbing, knowing my only remaining option is to spend my entire retirement fund on a Genesis copy, or even a flash cart. Wat do!?!?
