@@Alizz12 I agree, I have owned quite a few of their models over the years and they are not toy grade at all. Their 1/8th buggies have done very well in the last 25+ years. Their 1/10 scale on road cars did pretty well also. Kyosho makes a great and highly competitive product, they tend to keep the same models around for a decade or so and slowly improve them over time.

Yeah those Mini-Z cars are expensive as they are because they have a well earned reputation for being very good. The Japanese manufacturers are always on their game. Fun vid Kev.

I love their 4x4 4runner... I have it in a case in my car at all times... yeah the AAA betteries are heavy, but I have them readily available whenever I wanna play somewhere, and the kids love them...

These AWD Mini-Z's work great out of the box, nice quality and great detail. I got the same chassis (MA-020) with Subaru body. Also a same sized RWD Drift car, the HGD-1 with Nissan Silvia body. These are my living room drifters and they are great fun. The whole line and diversity of mini-z's is amazing. Would like to have a buggy, a crawler, a rwd race car and a race boat(!) for serious pool action, if only they weren't so expensive.

Thank you Kevin, I was a kid in the 80's and always wanted a truly fast RC car, but a truly fast one were multi- thousand, nitro powered machines and parents weren't spending that kind of money on a "toy". Now things like the JBL Cheetah have changed the game and my cheetah is stupid fast.

Multi thousands? I could have sworn the Kyosho Vanning was 800 bux back in the 80s. I dreamt of that car, along with a Turbo Optima, RC-10, Tamiya Lunchbox and others. Like you, my parents weren't paying for that. My best car back then was a Super Lobo II from Sears. $200 for that thing, and it was faster in reverse than forward, and only lasted about 15 minutes before the battery pack would slow to a crawl. Times have definitely changed.

Probably 1 of my favourite arcade games, time off from Chef work I would take a 45min bus ride from Porlock to spend a cpl of hrs nailing sega rally in Minehead Absolutely awesome fun! Loved it when I heard slight right 🥰 the memories. There was a trick on the arcade game I remember at the end of the select screen if you went up and down the gears you could then launch in Top gear gapping the opposition off the line 😂

Often been tempted by one of these - love the detailing. Seems to go very well as well, and love the way you have to 'learn' how to get out of beginner mode, not simply 'apply it' as with many. Finally a Kyosho Mini-Z MA-02 chassis kit on the channel. Omg I remember playing Sega Rally and Rally 2 on the Dreamcast for hours!!! I remember the Lancia Stratos on the cover but usually always went with the Subaru WRX as my go to drifter. Kevin I absolutely love the customer service skit’s!!! So funny well done👊👊👍👍👏👏 Kyosho Mini-z‘a are absolutely amazing but some of the scale body details can get broken off when racing and crashing them around. I’ve got a few extra bodies now. It seems like I buy a new one with every batch my shop gets in. 🤣🤣 I love them can’t help it. There’re great stock but wow with a few mods they’re even better. The front one way bearing, Kyosho Xspeed motor and the rear ball differential give you so much more control. The gyro definitely helps keep it straight and you can adjust it all the way down to zero. Great video as always looking forward to seeing more!! 👊👊👍👍
