This totally blew me away in 1994 at my local movie theater, this and Tekken 1 were side by side ✊🏾 More ppl were playing Tekken but I loved the style of AM2's polygons. I NEEDED THIS GAME IN 1995

Heck yeah. My favorite 3D fighting series played by my favorite dudes. I have to say, I do wish you all could spend some time practicing, though. The characters have so many options, and there are so many chains and combos and juggles and cool throws you never do. It'd be really cool to see you all play Virtua Fighter seriously sometime

Even though I was a Tekken fanboy because I bought the Playstation, It was because I actualy played the Megadrive version of this game(wich didn´t include Lion and Shun-di) that made me fall in love with 3D fighting games. Eventualy I got the Dreamcast with VF3TB and enjoyed it, but it was the Playstation 2 VF4 version that really got me into this franchise. And it is not an easy game to play. It´s really fun, but the learning curve is kinda steep. The Yovideogames crew would have to lab a lot of this game to do awesome stuff. Cheers and happy gaming to us all.

@@RaZieLDaNtE1984 I also had a Playstation and Tekken among some other early 3D fighting games of the era. I briefly played Virtua Fighter 2 over one of my brother's friends, but it was only later when I really got in the series. I remember how my impression went from "Only 3 buttons, doesn't seem very complex" to "Holy shit this maybe the most complex fighter I've ever played" in a space of maybe an hour. It also helps that Virtua Fighter has Goh Hinogami, maybe the best fighting game character in history.

Holy shit this game does really run pretty damn smoothly, a lot smoother than Tekken 2 in fact. This even more impressive when you consider all those little details like accessories that can get knocked off and those birds in Lau's stage.

@@alistairblaire6001 well thats a shame, i dont have any of those consoles, thats why im interested in the PC version, also its more for nostalgic reasons. This game is part of my childhood and so is Fighting Force. I would just like to have them ready to go whenever i feel nostalgic. :)

@@Csumbi The PS3 version of VF2 runs in rpcs3 (note that VF2 was a PSN release, so you pretty much have to download it from an archival site).
